Thank you for the feedback. We'll keep that in mind when designing next year's program -
Encorps Approved for Open Class
TchMuzk replied to Cascadia's topic in DCI World Class Corps Discussions
Thank you for the kind words everyone. It's been a lot of fun in our first year of DCI Open Class competition. We have a small group of hardworking, dedicated kids who strive to be the best they can be. Ya can't ask for any more than that! -
The DCA recaps show the summary, but if you scroll further down, there is a second page with the full recap

Thank you for inquiring. She sings in latin and the words are "Audira Voces. Sum qui vocatura Deo" which means, "I hear voices. I am called by God"

San Antonio Question - Why no Pioneer?
TchMuzk replied to IllianaLancerContra's topic in DCI World Class Corps Discussions
Pioneer is spending 5 days in Coweta, Oklahoma. We are rehearsing every day and getting better. This 5 day rehearsal time has been on our schedule since April. We'll see everyone next weekend in Atlanta. -
Thanks, Jeff. I can always count on you to be supportive. HAHAHAHA

DCA Finals Review. Giggity.
TchMuzk replied to C.Holland's topic in DCA All-Age Corps and Alumni Corps Show & Event Reviews
I just find it hard to beleive that in 2014 there are people that still call it M&M -
I may be biased, but it's very exciting being a part of this core as they continue to grow into, what I suspect will become, a top tier drum core.

MY UNDERSTANDING, and of course I could be misinformed, is that a member of a particular corps took a picture of the xmen tenors warming up where they shouldn't be and presented it to the T&P judge. At that point, he has no other option but to write the penalty. Luckily for them, it did not cost them a placement or a finalist spot.

C'mon, John Adcock ... all the cool kids are doing it

Does anyone have a set of crotales they are not using for the fall marching band season? I'd be happy to rent them for the season, or make a donation to your band program to borrow them.

Electronics Equipment
TchMuzk replied to Jason Harrison's topic in DCI World Class Corps Discussions
Idk about THIS year, but last year, the Madison Scouts used all Yamaha gear. Their power amps were Yamaha P5000s for the monitors and P7000s for the sub. They use passive speakers as do most corps, all Yamaha. I think the monitors were SM15v but I could be wrong about that. Jeff Lee designed the micing system. They actually used overhead choir mics, teeny tiny ones, I don't know the models and mounted them to the keyboard frames. -
Are the vibes still for sale? if so, can I have pictures and pricing, please?
