I love the ticket prices.... three dollars for a reserved seat.

Ok, we're set up. I'll probably need to do some tweaking, but it's a start.
(And I haven't had a chance to update the SrCorps.com front page yet. Probably tomorrow...)
Go here:
http://community.loudcity.com/stations/diceman-radio/tune_in
(It automatically sends you the right stream depending on your bandwidth.)
There's an embedded player at the top, and small icons for various players underneath.
If you don't want to have to keep the window open for the embedded player, just pick WMP, WinAmp etc.
Once the other player loads up, you can leave the page if you want...
Have fun and let me know what you think...
great site and having fun ... thanks for your effort....
a couple of questions....
do you have schedule that we can see what is coming up or what we missed...............
and
when I use win media player and close your page I have no way of knowing who is playing..
should I be doing something else.....
Thanks again for the music......

DCA 2008 Championships tickets now on sale…
I would have like DCA in its VIP plan to included parking
That big lot on Oak Street (P1) on the parking guide would done the job.
This lot is called the Club Lot for the soccer fans.
Maybe in 2009

Rocky's is open till 1-2 pm on saturdays......they only serve lunch but do business on friday nights for dinner.......where are u staying? can give u some hotspots in the area! Got kids with U? Strong Museum of Play is very nice for the young at heart too!
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Got kids... but they never got into DC so I solo it for last 17 years...............
Where am I staying is a good question...
I have rooms book at both The Crowne Plaza and The Clarion ....
Alan of the Cabs did not have too many good words for The Clarion (another thread)
Last year I stayed at the Plaza and parking was an issue but not a bad as 96 when they ran out of space
Pete

Last year we had a thread that the local residents of Rochester responded with some great places to eat and see...
Also, they answered a lot a questions about the city it self.....
Lets do it again...
Thanks for Rocky's..... that was a hit ... too bad they didn't open on Saturday, (I think the police told them all the streets would be block.....)

Sorry if these have been handled before. I checked the stadium web site and neither question is covered. Didn't make it last year for family reasons.
1) Is there Handicapped Parking nearby and was there enough for 2006 DCA?
This site is a map of the parking area from the soccer teams site..

What will be open to the public and what ones are handicap ???

With Garfield Memorial Day was the big parade day. 4 parades a couple of exhibitions, then the rest of the day rehearsal. The 4th of July was next with 2 parades and exhibitions. Then we would pack the buses for Milbrook NY. for a contest. Anyone remember this place? It was the place where there were no stands and the crowd sat on a hill . After the show the was a small fire works show . It was always a fun show.
That was Bennet Collge, closed now..
Who would have thought that was going to be the good old days.......

now I see..
will clean glasses
thanks

I can't find the thread, but about a week ago someone was asking about good places to eat while in Rochester for DCA Championships weekend. Seeing I have the day off and I have a little time, I will try to give some places in and around the city that I know you will like. I hope the corpsmen from here will add to my recommendations so that you all will enjoy your stay in town as much as we are looking forward to having you here.
I posted the other thread...
Thanks... Just what I was looking for........

Thanks, Fred great start.....
And D. P. had some nice talks with you at the bar in Scranton and looking foward to the same in Rochester
There are many good shows around, but one of my favorites has to be the Harrisburg show at the forum..
You arive and park you car at the Plaza and walk to all the great restaurants, bars and to the forum.
And what I know of Rochester.. this looks like I can do the same... No designated driver needed here....
No driving up a mountain for the I&E
Only Rochester, maybe Allentown can do this.......
I know this is going to be one great weekend......

Looking for some good info...
Local Rochester people come to the rescue......
Staying at the Crowne Plaza. Did the same in 96. Baseball field was close and did not seam to be a bad walk. How long is the walk to the soccer stadium and is it safe ?
I would like to park the car for the whole weekend...(parking at hotel can be a problem, I think they have another lot across the street)
Walking to I&E is no problem...but walking back after the prelims and finals is a question mark about the area......
Next, I know I can go online and look up all kinds of restaurants, but I would like hear from the local in the know folks....I love Italian......
Coming in on Thursday, fine dining night, the rest is $40. a day (sorry Rachel)
Best fine dining downtown ? I think I ate at some place on N Fitzhugh St (Edward's ?) back in 96, was very good..Is it still a fine dining place ? Anything else in walking distance ?
.
The rest of the weekend.. Read some of the threads that mention the following places..
Need to know address and if the are recommended......
Near stadium( Is it walking distance) Rocky's
There was another Italian place mention long time back on one of the threads also near the Park.
You can not recommend too many Italian places.
How about a breakfast place near the hotel...
Would like know if there is one on the way to the park for Sunday morning that I can pick up a sandwich and have breakfast with Alum's, you don't have much time before the show if you go to the DCA mass at the hotel......
How about these ?
Dionosaurs.... Pig and Whistle..... Sticky Lips
Thanks....

Hi,
Maybe someone can help me with the right information, or can point me to it..
What is the 6/10 parade in Wildwood
Look on the Wildwood site and they call it the NJ American Legion Parade,
I heard it called the Elks' Parade... which one is it...
Is there a listing of the parade route and who is in the line of march….
Is this like the Plymouth weekend and they have a formal concert at night..
Any info would help
Thanks,
Pete
-
Like the new intro to DCA site..... Give me a break... This is Drum and Bugle Corps......
If you want see and hear a Drum and Bugle Corps site intro try this site ........... www.ctalumni.org
It would be nice to see Lothar's, Sidemouth's or Jumping Joe's (etc.) picture flashed up, among many other great drum and bugle corps pictures....
Thanks, just my thoughts
