  1. The Cincinnati Tradition, an all age drum and bugle corps from Cincinnati, Ohio, is still recruiting new members for its 2008 season. We have openings in all areas, hornline, percussion, and color guard. For those who have seen us in the past, we were a standstill corps...but not anymore!! We are marching a show and hope to compete in DCA, that is our goal. We are having rehearsal this Sunday, Sept. 30th at Grace's Episcopal Church in College Hill, located on the corner of Hamilton Ave. and Belmont. If you are interested, come check us out! Directions are on the website cincinnatitradition.org. We are also planning an Open House, date to be announced. We are looking for commited people who need a place to march, so come join us. See you on the field! :)

  3. Our first rehearsal for Cincinnati Tradition is this weekend, Sunday Sept. 16th from 2-5pm at Grace's Church. Even if you can't make the first rehearsal and you are interested, you can e-mail us or contact us through the link on our website at cincinnatitradition.org. Come and check us out!!!
  4. Thanks, Cozy!! I don't know if you remember me and my husband, we met you a few years ago at the DCI World booth at BOA in Indy. We had our Tradition jackets on and we stopped and talked to you. Thanks for all your encouragement. We were at Tom's on Sunday...watching Mirage on video!!
  5. We are no longer a standstill corps and we are now marching an actual show. Our corps is taking a new direction and we have come a long way since 2000. Tom Slade is very much for getting us into DCA competitions and we are very excited about our upcoming season. My husband and I have been with the corps for the past three seasons. We are very involved in the corps and invite anyone who needs a place to march to come out and give us a chance.
  6. We have positions in all area, hornline, especially high brass, colorguard, and battery. All are welcome to come out! We are excited about our show this year! :) :) :)
  7. Still looking for members, our first rehearsal is coming up Sept. 16th from 2-5pm...directions on the website cincinnatitradition.org.
  8. Horns are sold. My corps director wants them, thanks!!
  9. Both mellos are in decent shape, the 3 valve has some dings and a small crease around the bell. It is silver, not chrome. The King 2 valve is chrome though. As for the price, I worked my butt off to buy the 3 valve from a former friend. Worked a lot of overtime, so it is more a sentimental thing, or used to be. I paid $325 for it. I am asking $100 for the 2 valve. If you want to see the horn, go to cincinnatitradition.org, click on gallery, then on the second 2007 icon. Look under the practice pictures. I am the one with the green hat, white shirt with checked shirt over it. There are some decent pictures of the horn. I have none of the 2 valve, but I did play it at our St. Patrick's Day parade last yr. It plays almost better than the 3 valve. Thanks.
  10. I am selling my mellophone, Dynasty 3 valve, in G. Was used in MSARP, purchased from Blue Stars. I also have a 2 valved mellophone, a King. It has some crinkling in the bell, but plays very well. Also some wear around the valve casings, from use without gloves. Any interest in either horn, you can PM for details. I don't have any pics, sorry. But if you go to Cincinnati Tradition's web site, you can see the three valved horn, I played it last yr. Thanks for looking.
