  1. As a young kid I lived across the street from Manning Bowl in Lynn MA on Rt 107. From our 2nd floor front porch I could see over the wall into the stadium. I would watch all of the Corps compete and asked my mother if I could join one of them. She agreed that I could when I was old enough to across the street..... LOL I joined our local Jr Corps from Lynn and, as my proficiency increased, I was invited to move up. As I got older I moved on to Sr Corps. (All age now)..... My Corps history is in my signature....
  2. Yep, that and, as Nanci said, his face has not changed..... just got older. (If this is who I think it is, his daughter also has his facial looks... *another hint, unless this is NOT who I'm thinking*)
  3. If this is who I think he is this photo IS older.... *edited to add, with further research, this IS who I was thinking and this pic is from 1947*
  4. That's who I think it is... (But I'm repeating myself... heh)
  5. If he is who I think he is we ALL know him.... (And If I'm right this photo is from farther back than Ray Fallon is thinking... Is that a clue?) As for clues (again, if I'm correct) I'm having some difficulty thinking of one or more that wouldn't let everyone know who he is. *edited fer spellin
  6. I don't remember him ever being that....err.... tall.
  7. 1985 Sun, I missed the Sunday parade in B'Port after the show on Saturday. Maybe that's why most of the Corps members stopped by the hospital to be sure I wasn't just attempting to skip the parade. heh (That B'Port show in 85 was to be the last time I ever wore any uniform or competed on a DC field.... seems like it was only 29 years ago. )
  8. Mine too! (A little bias here, I also wore it.... heh)
  9. Ditto.... What Frank and Fran said..... OR..... as Fran says; "Nothing to see here, move along..."
  10. Don, My twin..... (We're all family here) When I was in the hospital after my 1985 Bridgeport "tree adventure".... Only family was allowed to see me the next day. Milt told the nurse he was my birth brother and she let him in to see me.... (I was THAT bruised that the nurse thought we WERE birth brothers. )
  11. We're not snowed in (here in the part of MD) nor was I unnerved by the above. ("A Bug named ZEMO?") Yes, I'm still amazed at some of the nicknames we (Sun members) were given by our fellow members. (As with most Corps, many of the vets loved giving nicknames to the youngins' as they joined the Corps...)
  12. With apologies to my twin (Don) for posting another Sunrisers' inside baseball clue. Steiny yelling, from the stands after the 1982 dress rehearsal (which was a VERY hot day) "Off the Line # 2"..... Hey Contras where ya going? (That was somewhat directed towards our current victim. )
  13. LOL... Good guess Ray... Not knowing who will be future victims here, maybe we should put this clue away in the memory files for future use?
  14. IIRC, that was around the time of that other story... After Sky's show, enjoying several adult beverages at the pub and "communicating" very loudly AT each other. (Several members of both of our Corps standing behind both of us.) Our current "victim" and Stan were two of the fine gentlemen from my Corps standing behind me. (When the finger pointing started Butch and I were bouncing off each other and we started cracking up. Laughing so hard everyone thought we were exchanging punches.... Calming our current victim and Stan down was almost as funny...)
  15. I'll look for it later.... early'ish start tomorrow (Reilly Dinner Sat and rehearsal Sun) I think I remember where it is in my office here... (I'll also need to edit the name at the end of the recipe of else I fear I would be getting a Kewpie. I would't want you to run out of those and have none left for my twin (Don) in the future. heh)
