  1. I just sent a note to DCA Sales. Also sent to Box 5. Not sure if they did the cd this year, but they were listed on the DCA site for 2012 recordings. I heard from Mike earlier. His message was: Send a note to the store and they will look into it. Might have been a bad copy Mike Dca Media Director Thanks! Tom
  2. Received my CDs for The mini-Corps, Alumni Corps, Prelims and Finals. I haven't reviewed the finals as of yet. In the Prelims, the CD Jacket for Disc 2 lists 7 corps - Carolina Gold, Kilties, Bush, Fusion Core, Renegades, Atlanta CV and Kidsgrove Scouts. Only 6 written to the Disc. Carolina Gold missing. Does anyone else have this same situation? Did Carolina not sign the release? Thanks, Tom Norton
  3. Hey, All! I been thinking about this all day! You could see the smoke all over NY State on this one.... In 1963, WBNR (Beacon/Newburgh) Radio, that's in New York State folks, broad-casted a Drum Corps show every saturday at noon time. The radio host was Harry Carson (Not the Giants Linebacker), but a member of Chandler's Drum and Bugle corps (At one time the oldest Parade Corps in the US). The show was an 1/2 hour in length. Like Mike, I could only receive this show in Poughkeepsie (20 miles from Beacon) on my "NEW" transistor radio... LOL!!!! The Tube radio just couldn't cut it!!!! Enjoy, Tom Norton Poughkeepsie Pacers Criterions Interstatesmen Hawthorne Caballeros Skyliner's Alumni.... p.s. Marched with Mikey in sunny florida.... Don't get upset now, but he was my "Best" Man at my wedding 33 years ago! How's that for trivia!
