Now that I got my Earl Weaver tendencies out of my system... Good show! Still a three-horse race. I'll still keep hoping when I'm there tomorrow. They can pull it off.

You have to be ####ting me, Pyle. Musically, it's not in the same league as Frameworks and FOur Corners.

I mean, just because the majority of people that you saw were wowed by their drill doesn't have anything to do with my personal enjoyment of the show. You can't tell me that it's on the same tier as 2000-2001-2002-2004 and mean it.

Well, I guess that's the case, but I really felt that of the top three, Phantom Regiment had the best show. Not in a walkover, all three shows are good, but I felt it was the best. And it's not as if I'm coming into this with any real bias; I'd always loved the Cavaliers, but I'm just not getting the hype for Machine. They're getting into Cavies-by-Numbers. And since they get the numbers they need, I guess that's sufficient. Oh well, that's a shame. The wrong corps won.

I felt nothing from their show other than "they march well."

They're a machine. Because machine rhymes with green. And their jackets are green.

There's no GE to the Cavies show other than "wow they march a lot!" There's no real concept, no story being told, no interesting music.

Cavaliers and Blue Devils are ridiculously overrated this year. Best of luck with your darling little robot show, Cavies! The 15-year-old girls must be going nuts!

It took a disaster like Dance Derby just for Rhapsody in Blue to finish 3rd, and now Faust can't even beat "Four Measures of Godfather Music." Yep. Slotting.

I can't wait to find out how Phantom does. They've gotta pass the other two. They just have to. It's the best show of the year, and I truly believe that in my heart of hearts.
