  1. My only problem with the amped pit this year is that Boston was using some weird "creaking door" sound effect that I didn't much care for. I think the Cavaliers used it too.
  2. Interesting opinion. I feel that Four Corners and Frameworks had the best hooks of the originals.
  3. That was indeed my intent. As I don't know any Cavalier ageouts personally, the ceremony can sort of drag for me, and probably others, since other spectators exit at that time. I wanted to give Machine a second chance in the standstill on Sunday night, but I had to leave because the rest of my party didn't want to stay for ageouts.
  4. That had nothing to do with anyone's 2006 program, but nice try!
  5. It had to do with the specifics of the ageout ceremony, which I am unfamiliar with, as this is my first time at Championships, and my only exposure to an ageout ceremony is what the Cavaliers do, which I feel can run awfully long at times. That's not trolling.
  6. Told you guys I was getting banned at the end of the year. Silly thing to be banned for, though.
  7. Fair enough. I don't care. I'm walking out the door in a few minutes and when I'm back the season will be over. How is what I said trolling, though? What a stupid kneejerk response on that person's part.
  8. 007 was a heck of a show. That's what they need to be doing, not this Rosemont Dance Company stuff.
  9. And it has come up again. Why are you bothering me about it?
  10. This is a real chicken/egg argument right here, isn't it. Should drill be written to complement music, or should music be written to complement drill?
  11. I mean, it's not as if they're gonna rip a show to shreds, but if Phantom's guard is dropping equipment all over the place and knocking them into third, then yeah, the guys need to mention that. What's the point of being all Pollyanna about it?
  12. Well, that's how the Cavaliers show was last week, and to be honest, if you have no emotional investment, it's really tedious to sit through.
  13. The solution is simple: fire them, and hire Bill Walton.
  14. Here's a novel concept: why not point out the good AND the bad? If I was a drum corps neophyte, I'd want them to explain the strengths and the weaknesses.
  15. If that's painfully inappropriate, you have no skin.
  16. This never would've happened if Bill Walton got the job.
  17. It's not so much bad as it is just forgettable.
