Since Championships will be held in Indy for the next 10 years - after Pasadena - I was thinking DCI could use some of the money it should save in travel to place a big video board directly backfield. This screen would be dedicated to showing a high-cam view of the show. This way even those sitting down low could see drill any time they wanted. I know video is often shown on whatever screens are available in a stadium but they usually switch between closeups and high cam views. This screen would only show the view from up top. The screen could be placed directly backfield so spectators could look up briefly to see the drill without turning away from the action. I think this would be a cool way to watch the action. I know big boards are expensive but perhaps this could be incorporated into the stadium design up front and DCI could share in the cost. Just a thought.
