Due to overwhelming teaching and fall band commitments of prospective members and first camp callbacks,** FRIDAY, 9/3/04 ONLY** has been cancelled. 2nd Auditions/Callback Camp resumes Saturday, 9/4/04 at 10:00am. Ohmygod! Thanks SO much for the most powerful show review of the year! I'm an East Coast SCV guard parent and my kid, an age-out, was on last night's bottle dance line. I've been dying to hear how it went and you described the performance so vividly it brought tears to my eyes. Thanks for putting my head where my heart was all along. :)

NEW GEORGIA INDEPENDENT WORLD GUARD AUDITIONS SET! To make sure all those interested get the chance to audition, we've chosen TWO weekends to invite everyone to come and tryout for a spot. Weekend #1 Friday, August 27th 7pm - 10pm Saturday, August 28th 10am - 6pm Sunday, August 29th 12 noon - 4pm Weekend #2 Friday, September 3rd 7pm - 10pm Saturday, September 4th 10am - 6pm Sunday, September 5th 12 noon - 4pm Auditions will be held at St. Ann's Catholic Church Gym at 4905 Roswell Rd Marietta, GA 30062. Please see our website for directions: Xerxes The fee to audition is $50. That will cover both weekends. Please plan on bringing your own equipment to audition with. We will not be housing anyone for the auditions. If you are coming from outside the Metro Atlanta area and have no place to stay, please contact us so we can help you figure it out. Also, if you do live in the area and can house a few people overnight during the audition process please let us know that as well. BY REQUEST We Are Accepting Audition by Video!! Although this is not the ideal situation, for those of you who still will not be able to make the audition dates, you may send us a video of yourself. You will still be charged the audition fee of $50 if you choose to do so. Please include on the video at least 1-3 minutes EACH of choreography in dance, flag, and weapon if you spin one. Include an interview of yourself so we can learn a little about you and what you're all about. The more creative the better. And finally, please include contact information. Speaking as the mom of two SCV guard girls from Georgia, I gotta say your words are food for the soul.
