I'm not being pessimistic in anyway. However I can see that if there are way to many corps out there, it will eventually minimize to the amount now. Interest is still maintained but I think a big reason is "oh if I don't get into a division 1 corps, what's the point." This type of attitude has been a real big reason in why many people fear auditioning and don't bother going other corps for membership.
