Hopefully next year there could be more Alumni Corps performing! I was glad to see the Brigadiers Alumni perform the National Anthem and BLACK SADDLE at the beginning of the Finals show. They were even better than their performance at the Syracuse show in mid August. Their sound was great and they looked really sharp in their new "old Brigadier" uniforms. And marching with 5 cymbals looked pretty cool. Having a Drum Corps play the National Anthem is a great idea!!

Great show in Syracuse! The line-up was awesome. I particularly enjoyed hearing a Drum Corps play the Star Spangled Banner by the Brigadiers Alumni. Why don't we have more corps playing it at the start of a show instead of either hearing it on tape, or having someone sing it. We're DRUM CORPS for goodness sake. CUDOS to the Brigadiers Alumni for looking and sounding great!! I heard on the PA that they are doing the same for the DCA FINALS. Great idea!!!!

Having the Brassmen back is GREAT NEWS. I always loved "St. Rita's" And I hear that Maria Costa (St Ignatius Girls & St Rita's) is returning with the corps. That is awesome! Good Luck, Brassmen. Can't wait to see you!!

Just for fun, what would you like to see or hear? ---------------------------------------------------------------- I'd like to see and hear them in Rochester at DCA. That would be sweeeeeeeeet!

Born and raised in Olean. Marched with a small parade corps --- Emerald Cadets of Weston's Mills in the late 60's and early 70's. Thirty years later, I'm with the Brigadiers and the Brigadiers Alumni. Older brothers marched with Ambassadors, Black Knights, Dunkirk Patriots, & Murraymen.
