Ray!!!! I am enjoying the Florida sunshine and believe it or not and marching in a Class A DCA corps - The Sun Devils! Eddie and I got the opportunity to compete one more time and we took it! I hope to see you in Rochester! We have already had one competition and scored a 62. We have 2 more shows one in Atlanta and then Rochester. Oh..one of our instructors is a BD Alumni and knows Danny! We actually watched a BD video where I seen Danny several times! Please send my best to your family! Take Care!

Have a great show guys! I marched Eastern Mass Class "A" for years with the Citations and eventually Boston. I fondly remember the Defenders, Alliance, Arbella, 27th, Boston...wow what a time it was for drum corps in Mass back then. I loved every minute of it. Especially the shows at Dilboy Field in Somerville... Your corps will definately bring back memories to the home town crowd. Have Fun!!!

I am so sorry to hear of Mrs. Bonfiglio's passing. My brother marched with 27th in the 80's and always spoke highly of them. My prayers are with the family.

Unfortunately with gas prices the way they are and if your corps have members that travel a long distance to get to rehearsal...you may see more and more abscences from those members. I for one hate to miss rehearsal but with my commute (2 hours to and from) it is becoming expensive. I usually stay at a hotel for the weekend but even that is starting to dent the pocketbook. Until the gas crisis subsides this is definately going to be tough on this activity all around. Let's all hope for the best and keep on goin!

It would be great to see the Defenders do the Boston show. It will be like "old" times. I would love to see the show however living in Florida makes seeing the show a bit difficult! I am sure you will bring the house down! Best of luck to you!
