my guess would be, not with a TOP level corps on finals night, but at the beggining of the season, or with a lower lever, 13-24 placement, corps, yes. p.s. im guessing this will be about 5 or 6 pages when i check back tonight....

suposedly the directors picked members from the top 10% of there corps, and sent that list to dci who then figured out instramentation and sent another list back for the directors to cut down, obviously they couldnt take 10% of every corps. which also brings up the size, part of the reason, is we were useing bostons equipment... which cuts you down to, at max, a div one sized corps. also alot of the people who were invited decided not to go, being that it was close to finals, and during the week, and only 18 and up were suposed to go and also, it cost anywhere from 2-350 bucks, which is the final question, we were all on our own, but it included 3 day park hoppers, disney "resort" hotels.... and some nice food vouchers, as well as our dci goodie bags. hope that answers your questions

at magic, in 04 the gaurd girl who "walked the plank" got hit by somebody else's sabre and had to be taken off the field by our staff, she didnt want to leave, she just kept marching. she was bleeding pretty bad from the head and alot of us thought it was make up till we saw the staff run down and get her.

Listen to the 89 show, there are 2 "vanguard yells" one at the beggining right before the hit, and again right before red death comes out. hard to hear, but they are there

They probably mean only high school drum corps... just a thought
