  1. Good Luck to everyone that's performing tonight at I&E's. Should be a wonderful night of music !
  2. PTB is also "stoked" about The Classic. We got some new stuff this year which we hope you'll all like. Our Membership is growing and growing everyweek as is our schedule. We'll be in The Big city a few times this year, starting with The Greek Festival,April 15th, which we are looking forward to. So let's" Get it On" and good luck to all performers at The Classic!
  3. Friday night at Johnny's Irish Pub in Rochester,NY, PrimeTime Brass spread "a little" Holiday cheer PTB Style . AN 18 pc. Big Band, Brass Band, dazzled the huge crowd that night with traditonal and non traditional Christmas music as well as a block of Jazz. What an exciting night to end a great year for PrimeTime Brass. PrimeTime Brass would also like to welcome all of its new members that have come on board this year as well. Currently PTB is working on some major gigs and could possibly be in your town next year. PrimeTime Brass is under the Musical direction of Chris Castellon and musical writer/arranger Sean Williams.......what a team! What an Honor and a privilege to be part of something this special. Our next indoor gig to date will be at the"St. Joe's Classic" and we will be bringing our style to you. Happy Holidays from PrimeTime Brass to all of you!

  5. Congrats to everyone who competed in in Brass Ensemble and to The Hitmen that won. It was a great night of music and I think the people got thier monies worth..LOL Now I hope the rain can hold off for a while! Until next year Mike Spuck PTB
  6. I would personally and publicly like to thank Gary. He spent a few hours with me going through all of the leagal "stuff" with me without hesitation. Gary thanks for all of your help on this . I owe you a few beers! Now PTB can take care of all this and we can't wait until we can add to the friday night show. I understand theres going to be a lot of great groups there. Until then everyone have a great summer season on and off the field and we'll see you all on labor day! Spuckman
  7. Great post Tom......But, why should the performing groups pay for the "rights" when the performers aren't making any money of the recordings? Who makes THE MONEY off of these recordings? Shouldn't the the people who profit from these recordings pay for these rights, or does the performers get a "kick back" from some of the sales?
  8. This will be PTB's first year in competiton in the mini corps division and we are very excited about being part of a great night of music. Well here the question...Is it me or is the cost of performing out of hand? Your looking at the basic $100 fee for DCA and that has been the standard for quite some time now.....but the rights fees..your looking at $100-$200 a song, and the insurance for an evening for a 1 time event, your looking at $200-$300 just for that night. If you add it all up your group pays $500-$600 for a 10 minute performance. WHAT?????? Is there a better way to do this? Is it me or is this just nuts? Are we pricing out other groups from competing? Can some explain this to me. I think this is expensive,or is it just me?
  9. I want to wish all of those who are performing in Sat. nights show good luck. I hope you all do very well in entertaining everyone. Futhermore I would like to wish all of my close friends in PTB to break a leg. I'm sorry but I bought this cruise a year ago so it will be blue drinks with umbrellas for me. I'm sure everyone there will love the show and you will bring down the house. I'll see you all in a couple of weeks...I PROMISE! We are growing like weeds every week and I'm proud to be assioiated with this fine bunch of musicans. Good luck! Mike
  10. What a great camp and a great bunch of guys. What did we have 17 horns(?),I'm surprised that we didn't wake the Town of Webster last sunday morning. Do you think that the Cab members are going to like all of that Latin music we're playing? b**bs You guys from Baltimore rock....I'm wordering if Shawn is a perminate fixture with us, what a great tuba player he is....along with Jim Wise and Mike Hillman what a solid "basement" we have. Can't wait until Baltimore's camp
