  1. Brad, today we recieved the Cadets quillow that Terry made for my son. It looks great! Be sure to tell your Mom that Michael Patrick is thrilled. Now.... if we can just figure out how to fold the "quilt" part back into the pillow pocket nice and neat like it came.... ACK! :P
  2. Sure! I'll match you dollar for dollar. Get a job.... :P
  3. Marcus.... I love ya man, but you really need to know what you are talking about before you post an inaccuracy like this. It's simply untrue.
  4. Dear top (or Mr. dawg, if you prefer): Here at DCP, your opinions and Mr. Peashey's opinions are welcomed (and appreciated). As for plugs, if positive comments and opinions equal "plugs", I would suggest that Mr. Peashey's review plugged every corps he commented on. I did not see a particular bias for Patriots (although there is certainly nothing wrong with familial loyalty!). Perhaps I missed the point or value of your post. If so, please set me straight. Thanks, Michael Terry
  5. Darren, whether I agree or disagree with your opinions, I can honestly tell you that I very much appreciate you offering them here on DCP. Unfortunately, the written (typed) word lacks the inflective and visual cues we usually rely on to determine a person's intent. Although some posters may have disagreed with your opinion and perhaps even offered another view, I certainly hope that no one here intended to bash you for expressing yours! Thanks for serving the activity as a Bluecoats board member and as a DCP contributor! Regards, Michael Terry The law of opinions: "Opinions are like ##sholes. Everyone has one." Corrollary: "All opinions stink to some degree. The degree is determined by your position - usually upwind or downwind."
  6. Bahahahaha. Hahahahahahaha. Hahahahahahahaha. You're a funny fellow. Bando? Must be. Well its okay, you'll learn...we all hope at least. Its okay honey. Speaking of learning, Kat.... Nah.... I won't go there. Taking the high road, Michael
  7. It's all good, Windham. I respect your opinion and your willingness to express it. That we might disagree is of absolutely no consequence to me! What a boring world it would be if we all thought alike, right? (:-D
  8. I can't disagree with this pick. 2001 Cadets brass set the bar a little higher than ever before in the eyes (ears) of many I've talked to. (And I'm not laughing.....) On the other hand, I wish you would take another listen to Star '91. That line was truly awesome and I can tell you from standing in front of them a few times that year, they could produce plenty of volume.
  9. Besides that, you were 7 years old in 1993... :P You're allowed the occasional brain fart on history "before your time", grasshopper....
  10. Marc, I empathize with you in more ways than you know. Having founded and built a corps from the ground up myself (years ago), I can tell you that scalability is one key to early success. In other words, be flexible enough to scale the program to the resources available. This will not only insure a solid foundation to move the program forward, it will also earn you credibility with potential donors/investors. Again, best of luck to you and the new corps! I look forward to seeing Court of Honor in performance soon! Regards, Michael Terry
  11. Good luck with the new corps! Wishing you great success! Regards, Michael Terry P.S. - the link posted has a typo. The correct link is: www.courtofhonor.org (not .ord)
