  1. If BD wins we stand up and cheer for those kids hard work. If Crown wins we stand up and applaud their hard work. If the Cadets win, we do the same. You may not like the show concept, but booing, rioting or other immature acts arnt neccessary in this youth activity. Give the kids a break. Applaud them for their tireless work and for a great season.
  2. Someone on here mentioned PR 08 Spartacus show at the end where the DM gets killed. If you watch the video very closely you can see a sideline conductor on side 1 conducting the horns that are playing while the assassanation occurs. It is show very breifly because Tom Blair all wanted us to see the murder and hear the horns. Get directing by Mr. Blair with that small glimpse on the entire package.
  3. Very interested in it.. Hit me up with your contact information. email me at mdreed.music@gmail.com
  4. Bump-- Please stop by and see us. The corps is very excited about the product this year, and would love an audience any chance we can get.
  5. Contact Minnesota Brass about buying Dynasty Horns. http://www.mnbrass.org/equipment_2009.php
  6. Blue Devils played One Night In Bangkok in 97 and Minnesota Brass is playing it this season.
  7. It all starts TODAY!!! Come and see what the Midwest has to offer. WHAT!!?!?!
  8. Bump- This is going to be a high energy performance ensemble. we are looking for talented players who enjoy performing in front of 13,000 fans per game. Come check us out, we start next week with rehearsals.
  9. Closest score I can find coem from 2004 Semis. 12 Glassmen 86.375 13 Spirit 86.300 That is a .075 difference in making finals or not. Very close and hard fought season that year. My wife aged out with Spirit that season, and it was hard to see that corps not on the field on finals night.
  10. Michael Klesh used Finale and created a special part for them that was transposed for them. In our scores we had both Bb and G tuba parts.
  11. Just the opposite. We used Bb tubas and G for the rest of the line. I was on the horn staff as the tuba tech that season.
  12. In 2001, at the Colts we used Bb tubas and the rest of the hornline was in G. They were the Bb/G Yamaha convertabiles and the horns played much better with the extra G tubing removed.
