  1. Pride of Cincinnati did "Everybody Hurts". It was a pretty good show I can't remember the name of Blessed Sac's show, but it was a beautiful show
  2. i'm kinda sad that i can't be there...band camp ends friday and i'm just going to be too exhausted. but i will be at the one on the 19th!
  3. i was wearing all black...capris and a tank. i'm pretty sore too, and i've got some pretty bruises on my knees and hips
  4. i totally agree. i went to today's and had loads of fun. i can't wait to see how the others go!
  5. I can't really pick just one. But several shows have really hit me hard before, including: Pride of Cincinnati 2005 Northern Lights 2005&2006 Blessed Sac 2005 Miamisburg 1991&1998 Those are the shows I watch over and over again and they never fail to amaze me. They're also the shows that I believe define colorguard.
  6. I really liked Signature's show. The idea of taking something like dreams and putting it onto a colorguard floor is pretty cool. I wish I could have seen it from the front so that I could have gotten the full effect of the plexiglass. Light Brigade was pretty awesome too. They did have their blunders towards the end, but prelim's jitters gets everybody. Some of those tricks were pretty cool. In my opinion, their show this year was a lot better than what I've seen from them previously. Some of my other favorites...Aimachi-they absolutely blew me away. What a beautiful show. Blessed Sac-They're just one of my favorite guards ever. Zydeco-They're local, and their show was so awesome and performed very well.
  7. that's really sad... it was a great regional for guard.
  8. so rumor has it that jolesch didn't come to the nashville regional... can anyone verify that?
  9. where are they then? every time i've checked, it's given me the notice saying that they'll email me when my pics are up.
  10. amen to that. i just want to see the pictures gosh darnit!!
  11. this kind of thing happens. i mean, it's not like all the directors from each class get together to tell each other what their show music is and to make sure that nobody is doing the same thing. plus, both guards have very different styles, so you probably won't be seeing pretty much the same show twice.
  12. yeah, that was pretty lame. but i guess someone who's never heard of guard before might get an okay idea of what we do. i just thought that it was funny that they refer to rifles and sabres as "mock rifles and mock sabres". and they spelled sabre wrong.
