Are we all going to FL??? Hope you have all the arrangements in place. Yes, very good ensemble work. Horn line was working hard. Drums and guard close behind. Everyone put in a good days work. AND Congratulations to the N.O. Saints, all of the Saints' fans and the city of N.O. The Mardi Gras just got started a week early.....

Just a day away. Come out, enjoy the show all you DCP nuts. Hope to see lots of MSJ colors on stage and in the audience. BEST SHOW IN TOWN!!!

Excellent rehearsal last Sunday, ALL the instructors in the house!!! Huge horn line with a room full of lead sops including TA. Only one missing - Ace - sunning himself in FL. I'm certain he doesn't go anywhere w/o his horn. Voluntary horn rehearsal this Friday night, 1/29, at the Batavia VA, 7:30, DA in the house. Not sure about the drums just yet, will send out a note to get yeas and nays. I am planning on attending just 'cause it is too much fun and this time of year just can't stay away. Still some room in every section, looking for a couple of snares to help grow the line before we order the new show drums.

Next rehearsal is this Sunday, Jan. 24th, 9:30 - 1:00 at the LeRoy Middle School. Still time to be part of this great season, MSJ's 20th. Lots of great new music, inactive members returning and new members joining. Come on out and check out the corp, I'm certain you will be surprised!!!

It sure shows... Just a reminder to ALL - Friday night rehearsal at the VA in Batavia. Maybe even cocktails afterwords!!!

But it sure is great listening to the horn line. It is amazing how much you/they have accomplished up to this point - 5 new pieces in 5 rehearsals. This will be a tremendous year and the music staff deserves a huge round of applause . THANKS FOR ALL YOU DO DONNY!!!

.....warmer weather, less snow and lots more time doing ensemble. It sounded sooooooo good!!! Don't forget that this Friday, 1/15, is the voluntary rehearsal at the Batavia VA. So much gets accomplished at these session with lots of time for individual instruction.

Don't let the threat of some cold, blustery weather keep you away. There is SOOOO much to do and SOOOO little time to get it done. In other words we limit our rehearsals to bi-weekly to give our members some free time BUT missing one can mean being away from it all for 4 weeks. So start early, drive slow and be there.... See you all this Sunday, Jan.10th, 9:30 - 1:00, LeRoy Middle School.

And still marching with the MSJ "nuts", that's drum corps nuts!!! For me - 1968 - Albion Grenadiers...

Now which Allen brother made the statement that anytime two Allens were playing together in 2010 that he would also join in. Better get the music and be ready. I'm think there will be a few times for sure that Donny and Timmy will be anchoring the lead line....

It's Officially Christmas - BUMP!!!

A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS BUMP!!!

All of us at MSJ would like to wish all of our friends and families in the entire drum corps' world A Very Merry Christmas and The Happiest and Healthiest New Year!!!

All I can say is AWESOME REHEARSAL!!! HUGE horn line with tremendous sound, great music (4 new tunes in the books already) and a drum line and guard to match. This will be a 20th season to remember, keep it coming Donny & Larry and everyone else who is part of this TREMENDOUS ORGANIZATION!!!

Not sure flying would have been any better... Should be a great day on Sunday. All the new music is excellent. Will be an exciting 20th season. Still have openings in all sections. Looking for Contra players so that we have 10 in the back row. And don't forget the Christmas Party right after rehearsal... See you all there! A good day to come out and make your decision if you're still on the fence. No pressure just great people and lots of fun keeping "old-time, good-time" drum corps alive.

Had a prelude to the Holiday Season today with Christmas Brass in Buffalo. One more time next Saturday in Rochester before Sunday's rehearsal. Great time today with a little twist - The Brass singing at St Francis'. A special "Thanks" to our friends Beth & Jack for their annual pasta party after the day's events. Sorry you missed it Donny. Hope the van is fixed and you aren't stuck in a snowbank somewhere... See you all next weekend!

Can't wait to put the 2010 book on the street, field and in concert with 60 brass, 25 percussion and a huge combined "A" and working guard. This will be a show you won't want to miss...

Good to go and it's a Great One. Thanks Donny for putting this one together for the 20th Season of MSJ. This will be a real crowd pleaser for everyone who enjoys the "good-times, old-times" of drum corps and Mighty St. Joe's...

First - A Happy Thanksgiving to All from Mighty St. Joe's! Although MSJ had to cancel our St. Patty's Day trip to Las Vegas the corps is alive and well for 2010, our 20th Season. At our last practice we added 2 new bass drummers, a section of concern and we are still looking to add contras at this time. There are also openings in every section as we strive to reach 60 horns for this upcoming season. Next rehearsal is Sunday, Dec. 6th, 9:30 AM at the LeRoy Middle School, LeRoy NY. Come on out and join in the festivities for 2010.
