In some of the hot button topics, I frequently see appeals to tradition. What I want to know is what traditions make Drum Corps...Drum Corps. I'm thinking about the stuff that is under the surface that doesn't become the subject of heated argument, what's not immediately obvious when you're sitting in the stands watching...
It could be something small that only a single corps does or something common throughout the activity. What is that makes the activity endure? What is it about an organization that makes its alumni and current members pull together to get through a rough time or ressurect an old name for a new life? I want to know about old tradition, new traditions, small ones annd large ones. There are a lot of people with a long history in the activity on these forums and I want to know just a little slice of that history. So keep it light, lighthearted, enlightening and serve it up!
