Just wait...it won't be long til you see a new cable channel...."DCC"---Drum Corps Channel or "MMC"--- Marching Music Channel....DCI will win because they own all the rights to production of the shows......too bad I already Copyrighted and patented the idea......any investors out there?????

Ya know what one of the greatest things that has come to light with the KAC....it's the fact that so many of our "Invited Guests" have been enveloped in how the Kingsmen did things and how we still do them now..........Our "IGs" have become Kingsmen and are proud of this Corps......I tease some of the guard members about how "The girls in red have become blue"....proud as a new daddy of everyone in our "Big ol Blue Monster"...this says NOTHING of all the new friendships and relationships that will far outlive the jabs and jealousy....... Back in Black & Blue!!!! Yippee.....

I'll second that....been 35 years since I did DC as a member of the 72 Kingsmen....lemme say this....nothing like being back in blue and under those lights.....and yes, we did march 18 French Horns on Saturday...welcome back my friends to the show that never ends.....

lemme see if I can be a little more eloquent and not as pointed as some....... I guess my point about kindred souls was a lost cause but I as a Kingsman that was a DCI champ at a very special time in drum corps and my life. I find it hard to understand negativism relating to an alumni corps.....we are what WE want to be caring not what others think we should or should not be...we will, for a lack of other words, be as Kingsmenesque as we used to be.. those that revel in "the day" should understand my passion as having been there....we embraced SCV after we took their legs out from under them and all others in 1972..I knew several horns from SCV and considered them friends.....they were eloquent in the loss as we were in victory...we took immense pride in what we did and will do so again on 8/11/07.......i'm just a nice guy DCIHB.....and truly, quoting....."I can Hardly wait" b**bs

Then don't listen...it's that simple!!! Go to get sumfin to eat when we go on.....

Buckle up boys and girls and consider ear plugs.......we're gonna paste your ears back......5 days in 100+ temps isn't sumfin we like to do...it's sumfin we had to do!!!! We all think we're 20 again.........plus we're havin a ball......one huge family with little disfunction....
