  1. http://shop.ebay.com/charlies**angel/m.htm...p=12&_rdc=1 These will be listed on ebay until sold. Offers considered!
  2. I just listed some nice flags and props. Anyone doing a dragon/knight theme? I have awesome stuff for that kind of show, plus others. http://www.freewebs.com/elletcolorguard/forsale.htm Email me at theresa_rousculp@yahoo.com
  3. $180 for 15 USED Home Made Flag bags? STILL CHEAPER than new. STILL CHEAPER than I paid for them 3 years ago. They are in good shape.
  4. Set of 15 mom-made flag bags. Made of turquoise canvas. We bought these used 3 years ago on ebay, since we were on a tight budget. We are doing better now and plan on buying new bags this marching band season. We want to help another group that may be just starting out or on a tight budget, we've all been there! Each bag has a drawstring, sturdy black handles, and is numbered. They accommodate 6 ft. poles but you could go longer, the poles would just stick out a little more. We've had 6 or more poles in each bag as well as other equipment, they do hold a lot. They are showing a little wear on the bottom from being propped up, a few may have some tiny holes but they are still in good condition and have plenty of life left in them. A couple of them must have been worn more (before we got them) because they've been hemmed up a little shorter than the others, I guess to fix holes. I just washed them so they are clean. Check them out on ebay to make an offer: http://cgi.ebay.com/Set-of-15-Colorguard-C...A1%7C240%3A1318

  6. Our band is taking on two shows this year. Our second show is classic rock by AC/DC and Ozzy Osbourne. I am looking for flags with guitars on them. I need 9-10.

  8. I have a set of 6 buckets from last year's "Fantasia 2000" show. We used them during "The Sorcerer's Apprentice" We made these from plastic carwash buckets, wood-look contact paper, and twine. I think we spent about $35.00 to make the set. I'm cleaning out the guard closet and we're hoping another group doing that show could benefit from picking these up cheap. We hotglued the handles into an upright position and a few have fallen or the handles have come off but they can be fixed easily. Email me at theresa_rousculp@yahoo.com if interested and make an offer.
  9. I just listed two sets of flags and a set of uniform vests. Great deals! http://www.freewebs.com/elletcolorguard/forsale.htm http://shop.ebay.com/merchant/charlies**angel
  10. I found this on colorguardexchange.com: Zydeco World will be hosting their first summer technique/training session at the Decatur Intermediate Learning Center in Indianapolis, IN on Saturday, July 19th from 11:00am – 7:00pm. The address of the center is: Decatur Intermediate Learning Center 5650 Mann Rd. Indianapolis, IN 46221 This will be a great chance for performers considering auditioning for Zydeco 2009 to meet and work with several members of our staff, learn important elements of our equipment technique and training programs; as well as participate in a dance class and experience short choreography sequences on movement, flag, rifle and sabre. This training session is also open to anyone who just wants to come and spin - and have a great time! There is no age limit, everyone is welcome to attend. If you are a member of a high school with an existing winterguard program, an instructor wanting to experience something new, or a prospective member for 2009: we'd love to see you there! Registration will be from 11:00am - 11:30am; there will be a one hour lunch break. *The cost of the clinic will be $25.00 per person, with former Zydeco members receiving a discounted rate. **If 10 or more students attend from one scholastic program we will offer a $5.00 group discount per attendee. If you have any questions regarding this event you may contact us at zydecocolorguard@aol.com Please visit us on the web at www.zydecocolorguard.com
  11. I would check with Fred J. Miller Inc. and Bands of America. They have clinics.
  12. I just found out this year’s halftime/contest show has two songs, “Encanto” by Robert W. Smith and “Dragons Fly on the Winds of Time” by Larry Neeck (both are songs for concert band). I am looking for ideas since I’m not familiar with either composer or song. Does anyone have for sale wing flags or flags/props with dragons or clocks? My band director is pretty pumped about the songs but I have listened to samples online and it seems both are a little repetitive and long. Unfortunately, our band has a reputation of putting our football game crowds to sleep with our shows since we usually perform music they are not familiar with, plus we have a small band (50-60 playing members) so they have a hard time even hearing the music! Last year our show was “Fantasia 2000” so the crowds and students were familiar with the music and it was one of our most successful shows. I don’t want this year’s show to be a bore. I’m looking for something to keep the crowds’ and my students’ interest. Hopefully someone out there knows the music and has done at least one of the tunes and may have some ideas or equipment they could sell to us. Any suggestions would be appreciated!
