I know this is something people don't want to talk about, but I need feedback. Mostly just because I want positive options. As everyone knows, gas prices are CRAZY. They are predicted to jump to $4 by july 4th, and over $5 by christmas. As everyone knows: drum corps rely on buses for transportation. The question is: will soaring gas prices kill our beloved activity? I hate to say it, but it will be at least 20 years before the bus companies can use alternative fuel buses. I want to believe we can count on great, no-holes-barred, balls-to-the-wall, corpsgasmic entertainment for the next 50+ years. But this issue could make fielding a corps impossible. What's gonna happen guys? Soothe my aching soul!

From what I hear, if you go to the DCI Countdown, which will be in theaters on April 24th, you will get an update one crown, as well as the blue devil and blue stars. Also...... the brassline will be huge.

Crown just had camp this past weekend. All the staff is saying about the unis is that there will be "alterations" Take that as you will...

I agree. As long as he's gone forever......oooooohhh......I need to stop fantasizing. That's just too good to ever be magically true. Heck, i'd give my left nut for him to be gone...

Hey everybody! I'm speaking pretty much only to vets on this one. I'm going to be marching my first drum corps season this summer with a top-12 world class corps. (On tuba) I've been to a handful of camps and I have really sore feet and blisters by the time it's over. I just need to know what kind of shoe will give me the least amount of problems this summer. Vets, I need your wisdom!

Wow Hrothgar, you really know how to make all hell break loose... Your hopeful satire is enlightening. And my two cents is: Because I don't believe in murder.........I hope George Hopkins gets stranded on an island in the middle of the pacific and never returns. That way, the rules can be changed back to 2003 rules and Hrothgar's horrible prophecy will never come to pass.
