  1. The current state of the Madison Scouts can be attributed to solely one thing: the unforgiveable poor decisions of the current board. PERIOD. You don't fix something that isn't broken...and they tried, and they have miserably failed the current members of the Scouts.
  2. And WHAT, pray tell, ARE the facts, oh wise one? Because I do believe, from knowing first hand (I was there), that there were NO facts released regarding the board turnover. And, a number of the board members RESIGNED when the decision to let Sal go was presented...so the board was NOT in agreement. Tell me more...I would love to hear because these "facts" have yet been made public...to anyone, including most importantly the MEMBERS.
  3. I've said it once, I will say it again...I'm not sure why ANYONE is surprised that Scouts are having a rough go at the beginning. It just seems that history repeats itself all-too-often with this corps, and I hate to offend any Scouts alumni or fans, but this corps always seems to find a way to self-destruct when things are looking ok. Sal Salas, the administrative, AND design/instructional staff was one of the hardest working, most dedicated and CARING staffs I have ever been a part of, and then a few overzealous members of the "board" decided to, in my opinion, destroy the forward progress of the recent success on and off the field. In a day and age where it is a fight to get in even the Friday night show, I don't believe 9th place is not a great reason to panic. So, after almost virtually the entire staff quit because of the poor decisions of the board that took over, I'm not following why ANYONE is surprised they not coming out in "winning fashion".
