I wanted to find out if anyone else out there is having problems with WGI Replay. It was working fine unitll a few days ago. It will load the player and once I choose a regional, and then try to watch any of the shows, it will load, play a few seconds and then go to HTTP 404 Not Found page!! From what I understand it is a problem with the website and not my computer!!! Just wanted to find out if this is going on for everyone!!!

they might as well name a horse after you THX,,, you seem to be their biggest fan!! Do you work on the food truck or something?!!?? You seem to know alot about their show and have made many posts about them. You couldn't possibly be just a fan going all around the united states following them. I am all about support but would be nice to see you make some post about your other favorite corps. as nice as the ones you have made about Crown!! Or are you a one trick pony??!! (ha ha, get it?)

I think Cavies guard are better dancers, then crown. I think both guards are very good, and I think both guards tell the story of each of the respective show. Phantom is another guard that spins their butts off! Phantoms guard seems to have the most together flag work I have seen all season. Cadets are of course a classic! I think Blue Knights guard has come leaps and bounds!

speaking of bird like movement, Crown, who are horses, do a few bird like moves in the beginning dance, then do the horse step thing,, but I thought some of Crowns movement looked like chickens!! as for Phantoms uniforms, I think they are great. Some of the other guards out there look like they are stuck in the mid 90's. At least Phantom looks modern and I think it all fits the theme, down to the blue the corps. wears!!!!

I totally agree with everything everyone is saying about Crown!! Last year at finals as well as this season. I would expect the same kind of thing to happen this year at finals, no matter what place they end up! I was not trying to say they cheated their way into getting the chops award. I guess the point of this topic didn't get across because the same corps won every award. Congrats to Crown, and good luck to them and all corps!!!!

yes yes congrats to Crown, I am very happy for them. I was not trying to say that they or any other corps "stacked" the vote! I did not intend for this topic to turn into another topic about Crown (there seems to be the mention of Crown in every topic that I read, mostly posted by the same people) or anything negative for that matter towards any corps. I had said in a previous post in this topic, that I would expect members to vote for their own corps. to have pride in where they march, and so on and so on. I was just trying to start a topic of discussion, and that I have done!! It was just something that me and a few friends were pondering over when we were talking about chops award and how with todays reality tv contest shows where the viewers get to vote and how Sanjaya (or however you spell his name) got to stay on Idol! Now before anyone says it, I am not calling Crown Sanjaya!!!

Easy people, Easy!!! It was only a thought, and I am sure that there have been some kids that have went for their phone and text their own corps. No big deal, actually would think kids would want to vote for themself. If they have pride in where they march!! I would at least once, at least for the award for my section. Anyhow, I have seem many many kids after shows on their cell phones. I actually admire that Cavies don't let their members have phones, for the simple reason that kids will talk on the phone with friends and family from home, instead of getting to know the other members of the corps. ( I am sure there are other reasons as well) This post was in no way ment to make is sound like Crown is winning the Chop award because they are going and texting for themself. Just an observation!!

agreed that Cavies would be at a disadvantage, and I am only putting out a possiblity, not that this is really happening. Also I am not really talking about Alumni of corps. It alumni were to be the driving factor I would agree that older corps. would have the advantage. Just an observation, you know with the likes of American Idol and how the viewer votes can go sometime,,, crazy stuff!!!

So this Hot Chops Award thing, I think it is a cool thing for this company to get their name and brand out there especially in the Drum Corps. world, however, not to take anything away from Crown who has won each award so far, but how you get to vote is kind of weird. In this day and age of drum corps. where just about every member in each corps has a cell phone, (not like back in my day when if you were lucky you got to stand in line for hours at a pay phone) but isn't it possible for the members of a corps to text as many votes as they can, once they are done with their warm up and show and all that of course. Again not to take anything away from Crown, not that they would have members of staff that would do that, and they do seem to be a crowd favorite this year. This could be a way for a different corps to win a chop award, (are there even any left??) Just my 2cents!!!
