Purely out of curiosity.... what is the reason behind the "don't cross the front of PIT" rule?

I think I can agree with this even as an alumni of MBI. I'd been giving VOR a hard time. But even though there has been no head to head with Bucs since Lewisberg and Bucs have a pretty stale score MBI has taken a pretty big lead in the visual captions and has had the top overall since they both competed (albeit not head to head but it is a departure from recent past). And if I'm not mistaken a 94.25 is the highest score MBI has ever had going to into prelims. The visuals have cleaned significantly with holes being filled and just more attention to details. I haven't seen Bucs show this year and being a marching member for the last 5 seasons I actually only got to see them at prelims in 2007. There has been no doubt the last 6 years Bucs were champs. I can just go based on recaps and what not. I look forward to actually seeing all the shows this year.

All will be right with the world after next weekend. Don't worry. I think MBI is just being slotted so there isn't a repeat of last year where MBI was clearly lowballed into a 4th place slot at prelims. MBI will be in second at prelims and it will stay that way.
