  1. All I can say is that my favorite free day entailed being butt naked in the Pacific Ocean at the Santa Monica Pier. Not too shabby for a NC girl...
  2. Cap Reg saved SW this summer. When our staff bus bit the big one, they sent the only remaining bus they had. When the cook truck broke its axle, they sent their fully stocked 18-wheeler for us to use the rest of the season. We jokingly called ourselves CapWind or SouthReg, but honestly, we would have been sent home had it not been to them. Thanks again guys.
  3. That story is symbolic of the true meaning of drum corps.
  4. I doubt hardly any of these things will happen naturally over the next ten years. However, I can tell you that smaller corps are having a harder time finding the money to field, but thats always the case. You must also consider that our country is is a recession and that too is felt in the drum corps community. Money is tight for everyone. But if you try hard enough, you can always afford corps. I know. I found the money and I'm a broke college kid who is completely independent of her parents AND marches winterguard. Its possible. It just takes a lot of hard work and commitment.
