Congrats Harry and the Conquistadors. Cabs Alumni donated a contra to an ensemble we put together up in Albany a couple of years ago. It was greatly appreciated. They are very generous and helpful. So by ending your rant with , what is it you are trying to say Liz, that I need a shrink?

------------------------------------------------- It is posts like this that #### me off. The hidden message comes shining through. Yes things happened in the past and let's leave them there, okay? Bringing all this "old dirt" (1992?????) up helps nothing, particularly the Sky Administration who continue to try and claw their way back. It begs the question : What is your real message here? Don't go to Sky if you are looking for a place to march? They are thugs! Tell us. For those spending countless hours trying to bring Sky back, it is a slap in the face , and certainly a slap in the face to fellow Skyliners past and present. If this incident had such an impact on you, first let me apologize (unless what you got was deserved), then offer advice to you to go see a shrink and get some help . That goes for anyone else that wants to throw some mud balls at Sky about things that happened years and years ago. I know most of the guys from the past, and certainly know the guys that have been around the corps in the past few years even better. I can tell you they are all good people, regardless of whatever theatrics happened , or happens. When we are under the weather, we try to help others, providing equipment to corps like Bush, Excelsior, Bridgemen, and others. Yeah, real bad boys aren't we. I recently had to step down as business Manager for health reasons. I wish Angel the best in trying to get Sky up and running again, and suggest if you want to know what is going on with Sky, contact him directly. Nice pics on Corpsreps.com [many from before i was born ] Boys (Spirit) of 76 One of my first drum corps albums had Boys of 76 on it...fondly remember driving my dad nuts blasting my albums on the family stereo while he tried to read the newspaper Best of luck with your reunion. Post some more pictures please. Love the history....[DCP] ..."A couple of unique features set this venerable corps apart. It is reputed to be the only drum and bugle corps ever directed by John Philip Sousa, for one thing. For another, at least one charter drummer learned his musicianship from a veteran of the American Civil War. Finally, after a tour of France in 1923 (one source says 1927), the corps established a tontine, in which a fine bottle of cognac was set on a mantle, to be opened and toasted by the last surviving member of the 1923 Boys." The facilities we are providing have been unbelievably nice (camp Mariah was gorgeous, although I didn't get to hug Mariah Carey !!!!), and fairly convenient to get to. The book is in the more than capable hands of John Arietano and Dion Placencia. Equipment wise we are fine. We got some "do re me" in the bank and are trying to raise even more for nice new things for YOU.................FOR YOU......FOR YOU....(love that ) Let's go all out for the Jan 23rd rehearsal --- bring a friend or three! I will guarantee they and you will have a great experience. The one thing that is missing from our Dr m Corps is YOU!!!!! See you there!
