I have decided to stick with Corps A. I have deep and profound respect for them. This isn't the time to leave.

I seriously feel like I would be letting corps A down though.

I am not aging out yet, I'm only seventeen.

OKAY, so here's the lowdown. Say I march corps A, an open class group. I left the group in april for personal reasons, but was given the opportunity to perform with them earlier this week. I have to come up with the money by saturday so I can march. Now a lot of people are trying to pull together to help my situation, but it's probably not going to be enough. Secondly the gas prices have hit corps A really hard and they need to raise a lot of money in order to make it to finals. Third, the last spot on my instrument was taken by someone else, leaving me to pick up a different one and catch up. Now say corps B, a newer world class corps, offered me free or very discounted prices to take the last spot of my instrument. Corps B seems much more appealing but corps A is my home. It's the first corps I started with and I feel as if I would let them down if I left. Asking my closest friends for advice I got opinions from both sides, both of which only state the positives. So now I need your help with this......

Forgive me if I'm wrong but it seems like you're saying that the OC's success is based on the Cascades. What about the fact that the show is going along great, the program is growing at a rapid pace, or any other factors like that? As for me, I think Surf is going to win with Teal about .700 behind them. OC has the potential too, and Spartans are also a contender. Good luck!
