  1. i love the chords at the beginning of Cascades 2002. Not anything mind blowing, but its cool to listen to.
  2. i would have to say a tie... i love the cavvies for the design and imagination, but not a fan of the music all the time... and blue devils i love the music, but its hard to see the drill with the dark uniforms... maybe its just me...but i think if you had cavvies imagination and blue devils music it would be an awesome awesome drum corps. (not that cavs or bd are awesome, but they would be even awesomer if they mixed)
  3. i guess i'm the minority, but i loved seattles... Peewee
  4. i'm suprised no one has mentioned SCV2000! That was my favorite ballad i think of all time. Check out Spirit 2002, i loved playing that ballad... Peewee
  5. i think spirit has done them in the past, not particularly last year, but in 2001 and 2002 i'm pretty sure we did them...
  6. good question, i hate "concert settings" sorry i cant offer any help there. I took one back to high school band one day and my band director said i was playing too loud, but i think that was user error. :) Peewee
  7. At Spirit we play on Kanstul BBb 5/4 Contras (we have 4 convertibles and 6 fixed). I love playing on the convertibles more, not sure why, but they sound better, and it seems like i can play louder. They're also slightly heavier, if that has anything to do with it. In 2000 we played on yamahas and i hated them! It was awkward to hold and with the straight up valves it was not pleasnt. But i love our Kanstul contras, Although a few things to be advised about. The C's are badly out of tune not matter how far you pull the "tune any note" slide out. There are a few other notes that are iffy, but no horn is perfect. Peewee
