  1. I had the great fortune to meet Cozy for the first time at the DCA South regional in Douglasville. It was truly wonderful to chat with him - he has such a great depth of understanding and experience, a passion for Drum Corps in all it's various facets, and a fine sense of humor to boot. Get well soon Cozy! jay & the Austin Stars
  2. Doh, sorry all, I just found that our membership manager had already posted!
  3. The Austin Stars Drum and Bugle Corps is proud to present our 2009 show “Footsteps of a Soldier”. Join us as we follow a World War II soldier on his journey – first with basic training, a night out, deployment, the battle, and finally his return home. You can read more about the show concept on our website. Our first rehearsal will be held at Rouse High School (1501 CR 271, Leander 78641) on Saturday, December 13th from 12:00pm – 4:00pm. The band hall is located in the back of the school – take the last right into the school and follow the drive to the back (look for the blue and white balloons!). Afterwards we invite you to join us at Buffalo Wild Wings (off of 1431 and 183A in the 1890 Shopping Center) for drinks, food, and fun. Check out the new website for more information. We're very excited about this break-out year for the Stars and hope you'll join us! Thanks! jay ---------- Jay Martin Executive Director Austin Stars Performing Arts Association
