  1. Hey guys! I have been a member here for a while - Screen name Puppet - have about 1,600 posts under that moniker. So, a while back I moved, I stopped posting as much and then like around last year this time my other laptop was stolen. So I got a new one and requested my lost password which I lost. Some other stuff happened and you guys (or the guys/gals who do such things set me up with a new ... everything which I really didn't want because: "I AM PUPPET!" Same kind of thing just happened again. Now, according to your team, I have somehow become "Mellopuppet" and a rookie. How in heck do we et me back to my old self? Please let me know. I'm at: g.manbruce@gmail.com Thanking you. Puppet.
  2. I had to cast my vote for St. Ignatius Girls. I agree with what many have said about the Bon Bons but I watched The Iggy's grow into a real powerhouse, you know. Just as an aside, does anyone remember the St. Catherine Marionettes?
  3. Timing gun = yes! 12 minute shows = yes! Slings for every drummer - even Tymps! = yes! Every drummer marched the whole show = yes! Fleetwood recordings = yes! All the equipment and lugguge all in the buses = yes! Correction: "Off The Line" and "Exit" = yes! There was no "Whitewater" = NO fossil points if you can't remember before Whitewater. The arrival of your first equipment truck that didn't used to be a bread truck. When the Quartermaster corps was one guy. The arrival of a whole new set of Olds horns replacing the mis-matched set you won "Best Horn" caption on for years. The set before that had slides. Bb was something the number 2 bus had on the way to the show. 32 horns. 3 snares. 3 tenors. 2 triple toms. A big bass and a smaller (rudimentary) bass. Standing still and playing very soft passages. When the Trumball Troubadors had 50 members in the color guard. Class "A" corps won championships. Corps had the names of their towns attached to them like: Boston, Garfield, Anaheim, Chicago, Des Plaines .... - haven't been around in a while and the IT guys took away my DCP fanatic status. Stay loose, Puppet (you know, the guy from St. Rita's!)
