Glassmen officially announced the move to Jupiter bugles!!! Woo Hoo!!!

Now that I did not know, my apologies for my expectations of your blogging.

I like Mr. Capp. He is informative, but he doesn't tell me anything other than a number, and that is annoying. If Mr. Capp would give us his recorded comments, I'd like him a lot more. I'd like to point out we all argue on this forum about Mr. Capp's thoughts as well. Mr. Boo, by being a person blogging on an official site, is be accorded the same amount of criticism that we give Mr. Capp. I'd like to know the emotional performance of every corp. I'd like to know if the brass line is sounding flat, I'd like to know if he thinks if a corp is boring at a show. I just want the same amount of effort for each corps.

All the splendid things being said about Mr. Boo might be correct, I don't know him. But what I am asking for is the same amount of effort describing shows, execution for all corps.

Last 2 weeks he has been negative on the Blue Stars and Glassmen, High on Academy, Crown. He does a great job at blogging Academy's show and then talks about zombies for the Glassmen.... You can just tell he isn't putting effort into certain corps like he is others...

He seems to be great at pumping up the corps he likes and ho humming the ones he doesn't...

All, Dean is allowed to say whatever he wants, and feel hurt if he is hurt. Those who don't feel that way should defend if they need to. I am a defender. I love the Glassmen. I love what they have brought to my life. I love the training that they continue to teach kids. I give them money every year and if I didn't live on the other coast I would volunteer every year. I don't care about the placement of the Glassmen, but if I get a hint of them not building kids up the way I was built up, or that they make it not fun for the kids, I will lead the march on G-west. Tradition is making sure it is an experience of a lifetime, not songs, drill, drum solos... My 3 cents (I get an extra since I opened G-west in 88!) Craig

I am all for history and a former member of the Glassmen, however I don't think pulling in corps songs or all of the traditions is needed/appropriate in a show (personally gagged during the Cadets show when they did the HNC/whatever during WSS). A nod in the post show in Toledo would be very appropriate though. Craig GMen 88-89

My complaint review in 5 words or less: Revolution: Tires are very memorable. BK: Errol Flynn Robin hood outfits. PR: Dump the synth and amp SCV: Running Man wasn't good movie. Cadets: Dump the Angel in White. BD: Park and Blow. Academy: Tune with PIT. Closer doesn't. My happy review in 5 words or less: Revolution: Growing Corps, nice drumline. BK: Most recognizable tunes, still humming. PR: Nice horn Power, Baritones on fire. SCV: Cerebral, artistic. Cadets: Wow. Power and high speed. BD: Hornline and Percussion are phenomenal. Academy: Suprising hornline power.
