yeah - no way.

I'm seeing BD, Cadets then a sizable gap, then SCV just a tenth or so ahead of Coats who is maybe 4 tenths ahead of Crown, then a sizable gap (a point?) then Cavaliers, Phantom, Boston & Music City I feel all the corps are quite strong and I really like the varied shows this year!! Drums are particularly tricky - SCV seemed to have a great run tonight but Coats, BD & Cadets are also very strong... I still put BD in first in Brass - but Crown keeps getting it so I guess I'm missing something. I'd actually have Cadets second in Brass, Coats in 3rd and Crown 4th. Which is obviously blasphemy

MUCH better ending for Coats! Some mixed "feedback" on the performance tonight Guard had a good run - very strong unit this year Musically I felt it was a very strong run - probably take 3rd tonight in that aspect Snare line plays wonderfully - but lord are their feet inconsistent -- especially when backing up. Literally everyone of them accomplishes it differently The big picture drill is cleaning up - but some individuals stick out. And technique isn't always consistent, and some "timing issues" with their movement Overall a very fun show and a great performance. I do think SCV may have taken them out tonight. I guess we'll know soon...

This ballad and BD's are my two favorites of the year!

love Coats show - they just aren't as visually clean or individually consistent as the two corps sitting ahead of them as SCV & Crown cleans Coats need to watch out on their backside

Regiment seems to be having a rougher run tonight - sometimes this happens when corps are making all these changes. I have no doubt they will clean this up and blend that horn line over the next 15 days...

I agree. Regiment is another big offender this year... And Cadets let that creep in with their US Bands circuit IMO

velocity isn't the only thing that creates demand - geez. Cadets & BD both have crazy individual visual demand... and the Cadet field coverage and drill exposure is insane - all in white pants. So we'll just have to agree to disagree. No worries!

I'm not seeing that demand thing you are. Personally think their drill is easier than Boston, Cavaliers, Crown, Cadets, BD & maybe even Coats.
