  1. you must have pulled into town by now? hope the ride was relaxed, i,m shure guys are ready to rip it up. so i'll tip one back 4 ya.
  2. I know he will be in camp, but is there anyway you could bring A.D. (Adrian peterson) with you. That dude is a stud. Anyway have a fun safe trip.
  3. If reading gets picked off and Minn brass rock's the house, I would say this year could be one of the greatest years in DCA history. And don't forget the Renegades who seem to be looking real strong.
  4. Wow lets not get to excited, I like CV/alliance but lets keep it real. you can always start your own list, which you should not walk away from. There is alot of current combos out there, some see it realistically and others don't. How about dci top 3 vs dca top 5. Run with that............ I say Hurcs /Bucs this year vs any and i mean any other 2. well it would be close. lol
  5. No thank you. You are entitled to your opinion (which) makes all the more fun.
  6. A splendid house shaking all night rocking show of the Year. With a surprise I say.. Minn brass 86.5 Bucs 86.2 Hurcs 85.3 Cabs 85.0 Empire 84.5 Bush 76.3 Captions brass/ Brass percussion/ Reading guard /Hurcs GE/ Brass A real tight one
  7. Interesting. Hurcs to follow bucs, A BIG moment for this group. The crowd will be rocking when Reading finishes. If they can shrug this off and do what they do BETTER, well then wait a minute.... And Cabs to close, WOW this town will be rocking all night. A shootout indeed..........That ticket is worth e v e r y penny. Good luck to all. do your thang
  8. Sorry to hear the news. As always time shared on earth is time well spent.
  9. BosMarcher I will say you "enlightened me" regarding Alliance and I hope you are right. Competition is a Good thing and a "surprise" is even better. So its a thing.
  10. I would say Kennedy (Bridgeport) first there was nothing like that wall of spectators.... And Allentown second...........the drum corps Roman coliseum.
  11. I remember when I was a kid watching the Skyliners perform through a monsoon @ Kennedy stadium. I will never forget it, I have felt semi invincible since.
  12. Valid point rich, Let me be frank, This poll is a vote for the winner in each caption, The Hurcs brass is not there yet, next year maybe. I tried not to leave any group out. Being I marched Hurcs and played soprano with them in the 90's. Maybe it's my way of motivating them in a "subliminal way". One group I apologize for leaving out is Minn brass 's Guard. Forgive me. However in their place is Corps vets and they have a shot. Oh yes they do..... I tried not to diss any group just my feelings on possible winners, all groups in all corps are getting cheers and thats all that matters.
  13. You are correct my friend. I never said they would win, if they came in second that would be a GREAT accomplishment. Readings drumline is Fantastic, they have "IT" and everyone knows it. They have achieved and kept what many of us will never come (close) to. When i marched starting in 1990 Westshomen had it. And even though as a corp we beat them, when that drumline went bye "for a moment i forgot who i was and what i was doing there". That is were reading is today. Nobody is promised tomorrow and every great king will meet his match. Having just 1 hour ago witnessed their practice i got goose bumps...They are young and well balanced 8,5,5 no symbols. Yes they will get beat by the "it" group this year...which will if they stay together make them hungry and bye this time next year they WILL BE looking for the KING... next week will be awesome.

Heres a thought : post finals we send the top 2 corps to the lake , one on each side "at the beach" put em in a semi-circle drop the 1-2-ready go and let the village decide...
