The thing is that Yamaha seems to be on the consistent side of things. If you don't like one yamaha, your not going to like any others, and vice versa. Thats what I have been told. I personally own a Strad. There are alot of different feels to them, even within a certain model. Shop around. NEW HORNS ALWAYS AREN'T BEST! Make sure you play more than one! :P

They are switching to Bb in 2003. Aren't they supposedly supposed to be "Custom" Bb's aswell?

Hey guys, Call me stupid if you want. But what are the main differences between the key of G Bugles an the Bb Sopranos? Why would a corps choose one or the other? Are there any advantages either way? Main playing differences? ~DB

Hey guys, One of my favorite DCI show styles is latin. Tell me your ideas of the perfect latin shows for brass?

Well put....My vote went to BD's as well, but the Cavvie show, even though there werent as many black dots on the page and higher off the staff, was the best executed. They projected the sound of a group twice their size because they matched pitch and listened down etc. I still get chills when listening to it.

I keep hearing this is one of the highlights of finals, too bad PBS doesn't broadcast down here until Oct. 6th. Is the Glassmen show included in the time slot? I hope so. This kid was great last year, and im sure he has improved. Bravo in advance. ....Man i want to learn flugel....
