I'm just not liking the Cadets guard dressed like the rest of the corps - it's just strange to me and seems to limit some of the work (especially on flags) and the shako plumes kinda go all over the place when they toss. Later, Mike
true... but i would say that the work they can do is very stylistic of the mood and style of the beginning of the show.

Well I think cadets and cavies came out with atleast a show that felt finished. It may not have been the ending they have now but atleast they thought about the audience when competing in mid June.
It's a tough call to make... But the incentive should come from the organization itself not DCI.
But nothing against crown but the way they ended their show earlier this season was just not fair for the audience...
But maybe people who buy early June tickets buy it knowing that the quality of the show will not be great so they "get what they pay for". If you don't want to see half a show then don't go in june.

are up.
Uh... What?

What's taking the recaps so long?? Woot to cavies for a big jump! And woot to cadets! Woot!

cadets drum solo = = first place percussion
seriously I don't see anyone else taking that much risk in a drum solo. That long endless pattern goes on for days!

Thanks.... I and many just probably will designate "this" show as the official "hot dog show"............
we'll listen to the music, hear the drums .... and when the show is over......... return to our seats.....
and enjoy drum corps..... !
thanks...and have a nice day.
well goodness! If that's the case then I hope they keep the Jeffrey character in for good! Just to keep those undeserving fans for appreciating the hardwork of 150 students and over 50 volunteers, and teachers. Yea I mean makes sense to me to completly disrespect an entire corps because of some part of the show you dislike. I only wish all drum corps fans were exactly like you! Wait... You say they are... Well then people should just start going to drum corps shows for the hot dogs then....

I have a feeling bawkers dark ending, or something like it, will be on the field later on the season. Let's cross our fngers!

"Cheesy" is a good adjective for the previews we've been allowed to see.
Just wondering what high school that one of the staff members used this with last year to
bring to the "next level"..... because the preview screamed high school-ish... IMHO....
just wish this corps would go out and play some good, old drum corps with a modern flare...
by that I mean.. 80's 90's and 2000's........ there was ALOT of good music and ideas from that
time period I would PAY to see in THIS DECADE we now live in...
Why is it that those that lead dont listen to those that pay/watch/keep this activity going?
Right now, I really miss the word that I used to know as Garfield ????
(and no.... not a cat......_)
1. You cant please everyone. Some people would argue that this show is something fans want/ would enjoy.
2. you really can't judge the show until you've seen it in person. those bids don't give it any justice.

Wow!! Saw it and this show is impressive, powerful and FUN! Children's dance is probably my favorite and it's going to be a huge hit. Once it gets clean It's gonna be a fan favorite for sure!

It's School for Scandal. Nice slow section with a horn soloist.
