  6. The Cincinnati Tradition will hold rehearsal at Western Brown County High School this Sunday. We plan to be outside learning drill again, however, if it rains, rehearsal will move inside. Positions are still open in all sections. Please visit our web site at http://www.cincinnatitradition.org/Home.htm for directions in the “2010 Schedule” area. If you plan on attending, please call Tom (contact information at the bottom of the home page) and we’ll be sure to have scores and an instrument available for you at rehearsal. Regards Stldrmn1
  7. Despite a steady drizzle that at times turned into a heavy rain, the Cincinnati Tradition was outside for the first time and finished the first 20 pages of drill to complete the opener. The Tradition’s rehearsals have been high energy, focused, and positive throughout the winter. 2010 will be the corps return to DCA class “A” competition with thirty plus Brass, a drum line of 5-2-4 and 2 Latin effects clusters, and eighteen in the guard. Along with previous members returning, the Tradition has experienced an influx of alumni from successful DCI and DCA programs from around the country. Growth in all sections has exceeded all expectations, however, positions in the guard, brass, and percussion sections are open and auditions are still being conducted. There still is time for new members to join and learn the music and drill before our first show at the Emerald City Music Games in Dublin, OH on July 7th. The Tradition is a family based All-Age drum corps with members ranging in age from fifteen to sixty. We are an inclusive organization with a focus on fostering a positive, family orientated atmosphere. For membership and rehearsal schedule information please visit our website at http://www.cincinnatitradition.org/Home.htm . With members commuting from Indianapolis IN, Columbus OH, Dayton OH, and the Tri-State Metro area (Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana), there may be opportunities for car pooling.
