I noticed this in the Cinecast: it looks like the Crown Drum Majors are saluting before the show where in previous years it wasn't obvious. Wonder why the change?

If we could afford it, that would be nice....but man that's alot of money. It costs us 1.75 per mile per bus.
Bummer, but I understand how things are.

No, I'd like to, but that's my first day of Band camp and we don't cut until 8:30pm. I guess I am the band director and I could change that....but probably not.
Too bad you can't pile em all on the bus and take them to the show.

Due to the connection between the Crossmen and Spirit (the XMen helped save Spirit's equipment and season after an accident on the road), at Finals Retreat if the Crossmen make Finals and Spirit doesn't, the XMen form a delta on the field. If Spirit makes it and XMen don't, Spirit makes a Maltese Cross. Great tradition!
Don't know what happens if both make Finals. Would like to see this year.

it shows one of the judges wasn't available....so it was probably the average of some other 2 captions or something. Still wierd
No visual proficiency judge so the other scores are average to come up with that score.
Aha! I saw the missing listing for the judge. Makes sense now. Thanks!

I am never getting scores from Facebook again....
Actually, I think 4 of us (on the South Dakota thread) posted the same scores from different sources. Might be they were revised--not sure.
Edit: Score page shows one set of scores (looks to be rounded) and recaps show another.

Hmmm...now CorpsScores is saying Spirit had a 71.1 and Madison a 71.8. Rounding are we now?

but pancakes sounds really good right now
Totally off topic: I had a line in a small indie film once. The character (a cop) loved pancakes and the line was: "Waffles are s***!".
Everytime you guys bring up waffles and pancakes, that's all I can think of. And I actually LOVE waffles.
Now...back to DCP!
