If they started at 6PM MN time, isn't this show almost over?
-
And of course now there's not one, not two, but THREE threads on the Woodbury show.
-
Thanks Kevin and corpsband for the updates!!!

Am I just missing the thread or isn't there a pretty competitive show in MN tonight as well?
There is, but nary a thread.

When did tbt go senior?
If I'm reading their website correctly, it looks like 2011. TBT Website

Crown opener from tonight (hi speed cam)
Hmmm...looks clean to me!
Very cool--thanks!

Hope that field isn't TOO wet! BTW, did they replace the grass with synthetic? I marched there in high school with Oak Ridge High in Orlando.
Someone just fell!
Jinx !!!
Everyone be careful out there!!!

Hmmm...I haven't seen a show thread for tonight's show. Did I miss it?

Not looking good here in Orlando. Likely a standstill show or cancellation tonight.
Regular show > standstill >>> cancellation
Hope they can get it in before it storms!
Good luck to all the Corps tonight!

Thought Spirit should get some love after last nights show.
I was just thinking about doing the same thing. 0.1 down from Madison. Way cool!!!
-
Racine didn't have there show ready as I see it tonight. At least half the show was done concert style no marching. No helmets. Uniforms didn't fit some of the brass members. No snares but 4 base drums. They sure looked to be trying tonight. Maybe they got a late start and maybe finding members was hard?
Thanks for the info!
Wife says they are always late getting started, so hopefully things will get better later on.

Good start for Pioneer, and great job to the other corps out there! It is great to see Spirit neck and neck with the Scouts to start off the season. That should shape up to be a nice race. Anybody know what is going on with the Racine Scouts? I saw on this thread that they have no snares and performed in exhibition.
Yep--I was wondering about Racine myself.

Here's the exact schedule for tonight's show:
7:05 Racine Scouts
7:22 Colt Cadets
7:39 Pioneer
7:56 Troopers
8:13 Glassmen
8:30 int
8:45 Spirit of Atlanta
9:02 Blue Stars
9:19 Bluecoats
9:36 Madison Scouts
full finale with Madison Scouts
Great! Thanks!

FWIW: Spirit posted their step-off time (on the food truck white board) as 8:36. That might help with estimating the other Corps start times.

Go Spirit!
Go Racine!

Recaps up!

Makes total sense to me - Linus represents the innocence of youth and its wonder over the magnificence of the season. Exactly what I think they are trying to get across there.
Very nicely said.

So that religious voiceover that Cadets use right before the closer about wrapping the baby in swaddling clothes... Is that from Charlie Brown?
If it's the same one as in the Cinecast, yes. Charlie Brown's Christmas.
-
Did they decide to skip INT? I heard they had a really GREAT show this year. I guess it wasn't quite ready.

Huh, if you look at the recaps, Spirit actually beat Cavies in the vis. GE rep sub-caption. So that means the judges like Spirit's visual program better? At least at this show
And only 0.1 behind in Music Analysis (whatever that is ).
[Gotta spend some time with these new sheets.]
-
Spirit 1 point behind SCV!
[Yeah, I know we're not supposed to compare shows, but we dreamers can dream can't we?]

Not much progress from previous set of scores, except for Cadets. Congrats to all the Corps.
