Ok--Spirit and Crown, but that's a given (see signature).
Other than the "home team":
BK
Madison
Phantom
BD
(Sorry--I just can't pick just 3. I truly enjoyed all the music this season!)

Thanks for posting. It's strange to have a rock show without an electric guitar, particularly when there is an actual electric guitar part to be played and it's played on a synth. Bizarre.
Crown tried to have an electric guitar, but Herbert kept busting them into kindling.

on the plus side the cadets don't have to buy new uniforms for next years production of Le Cage aux Folles
Don't give George any ideas.

LOL! Thanks to you I just spewed all my pop!
You owe me a new monitor!
Sorry! Don't drink and blog! :-)

There's a mixup in the Cadets laundry. The Angels and Demons uniforms are washed together and come out pink. The Judges can't tell Angel from Demon, so Cadets lose all their GE points.

Good luck to all the Corps tonight! I may have to buy 2 Finals DVDs cause I'm gonna wear one out--I like all the shows.
Go Spirit!!! Welcome back to Finals!!!
Rach on Crown!!! I knew it was going to be a great season when I heard the first note of Bohemian Rhapsody!!!

Saw the run-through tonight. I thought it was GREAT!!! The changes are working and now just need some cleaning. Those kids truly are Rach Stars!

Must be John Bratton's Dad. I taught him in 2008. It's been very pleasing to watch him develop over the past couple years.
You bet! He really liked his year with Racine. He was interested in marching before Racine, but after marching that season the Drum Corps bug bit him hard.
Thanks for everything you did to help him along! He loves marching with Crown, but always remembers where it all started.
-
Any review on Racine Scouts? I like to keep tabs on them since they were my son's first corps.
-
Any more info? Where are we in the performances?

Soa went on before everyone else which is the only reason for these scores imo
They've been going on before the other "12th Spot Contenders" (except for Regionals) for most of the season. And, they've been regularly beating those who went on after them. Don't know what happened last night. Let's just say they got beat by the better Corps that night and we'll see what happens in Indy.
Go Spirit!!!

Not gonna happen, and keep your eye on Phantom Regiment next week, Crowns show is pretty much maxed out.
I don't think so. Crown has added some guard work with the towers that just isn't clicking yet. I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't change it to something better.
-
I guess nobody knows who is going to get that last spot! It's like they took the scores and pulled them out of a hat... just crazy! Looking forward to this week! This is what drum corps is all about!!!!
Yes, a strange turn of events. Wish the recaps were up!
Congrats to Glassmen! C'mon Baby Blue--you can do it!!!

No pits, either, so probably encore tunes.
I am probably going to pack up and head home. I have a two hour drive home and gotta go to work tomorrow, plus we were supposed to be done by now. Play by play isn't as interesting if it's not the SHOW, if you know what I mean.
Thanks for being our eyes and ears!!! Great job!!!!
-
Yeah, but BD could always take shelter in the "house". ;-)

Thanks
Edit: in the show thread it sounded like it was sprinkling during the show, but came down really hard during Crown's performance. Just wondering what the story was.
-
Did it just pour on Crown? Or was it raining hard on Cadets and BD? Must be tough on everyone even if it cleared up after Crown--unsure footing, etc.
Won't have to worry about this at LOS.
-
Don't be sorry!
That's the one bright spot for Crown this season since the judges have decided we can't break into the Top 3.
But, as they say--it ain't over, till it's over--about this time next week.
Congrats to all the Corps tonight. Now, go dry off and get some rest. One more week!!!

DCI.org has SCV at 90.6 DCI Facebook at 91.05
which is it DCI???
I'm guessing DCI.org since it has the recap.
Ah--that's maybe what CorpsScores was talking about.
-
I would be shocked if people on DCP would wait for the recap scores. thanks
They were posted a few minutes ago.
-
Wouldn't be shocked at all if Cadets took brass.
Sorry, Crown took brass (again).

Why is DCI taking so long to post on DCI.org?
Edit: Ah, they were posting the recaps, too!

True.
Last night, it was a bass. I was taking pics from the nosebleed section (with a major zoom lens) and it looked like it slipped out of his hands. Will need to check out the DVD. Oh, well.
