WARNING: For those attending in person, we just walked by LOS. The line to enter starts at the NW corner, goes down the N side, and wraps around to the East gate (the only entrance).
I hope we make it in by Intermission.
EDIT: Been coming here since 2009. It's NEVER been this bad.

Looking for playground equipment? Contact Crown today!
Update: Sorry, but that item has been sold to the San Diego Zoo for their big cat exhibit. They are looking forward to many playful hours for their feline residents.

Sorry if this was posted earlier -- I skipped a lot of posts trying to keep up.
From Twitter: Crossmen and Blue Knights set the all-time highest score for a 13th- and 14th-place finisher.
Thank you both for a great season!

Update: installed the new DCI app. It's cool & looks great. But amazingly, it only the time when the event starts.
ZERO logistical info such when gates open, gate info, parking, venue rules etc.
Again, why should I be surprised; it's DCI... 🤦♂️
It seems (to me) to just be a mobile passthru for their website. Too many clicks and scrolling to just see the Corps performance schedule.

Best Ballad?

Interesting tidbit I learned at breakfast with some Crown vols: In the ballad, the young lady is now lifted on someone's shoulders with another member steadying them from behind. She said the fabric pulls this way and that, and it's really hard to keep your place.
Hoping for another GREAT run tonight!!!

Great crowd response last night. Oohs and aahs for the brass playing through the fabric. Big standing "O" for the ballad. And, of course, a longer one for the Crown set to the end.
I was in sect 139. Your mileage may vary.

I’m not sure why they don’t have like an IPA pronunciation sheet with all of their names. It couldn’t be that difficult to do
Or with today's tech, have everyone record their names and send him audio files.

At the risk of it being someone I should know, who is that person whose head is on the field in Bluecoats show?
And my thoughts instantly went to David and Goliath. Must be this dark beer at what used to be called Basey's.
It looks like they have Flo on -- BIG change from several years ago.

80 yard stereo effect for East and West narration. Cool!

I'm doing something similar. I was in 438 last night, I'm in 238 tonight, and I have 139 tomorrow. 438 was slightly quieter but I could see way more, 238 almost feels too close to see well but the volume is great!
139 is a good section. I think we're enthusiastic.

This will be interesting compare/contrast as I am in 143 tonight and will be in 500’s Tom or night. Being so close is really interesting, as you can hear the judges a bit during quiet, and even the “dut duts” of battery and section….almost like you are on the field. Almost.
There was an on field trombone (or bari?) feature right in front of me yesterday and you could hear someone "dutting" the entrances.

Forget about this score nonsense, the important thing that everybody wants to find out is if that one marcher from SCV will be out there with one symbol again tonight
Bottom of the "V"?

Calgary -- I think they don't have any synth bass -- contras only. At last it sounds that way in the stadium.

In the stadium, PC's pitch bend got a nice "bloo" from a group of fans.
Talked to PC's Director out in the truck parking lot after the show. He said all the Bluecoats references went over great at Bloo's home show.

No VK shark. Sorry, everyone.
I think he's under the turf over on the left 20 yard line if you have a shovel.

Thanks! I would never had known about it if you had not posted it.
Bill used to have a room in LOS for his "museum". I hope he had to move simply because he increased the size of his collection. Great guy!

Yep. Even on Flo, the crowd didn’t respond near as much as I had anticipated.
With BWise on scene to witness firsthand, well, that’s how it went down.
Lick our wounds, and get back in the ring in 24ish⏳.
At LOS, the crowd was GREAT! Standing O for the ballad and from the Crown set to the end and long after.

They haven't announced any more scores in LOS since the second block. Academy I think was the last score announced.

Two vastly different ways to express the same sentiment. ZTW gets the point across without being harsh. Thanks!
