Just to let everyone know, the Performance on feb.4 was a huge success! The videos are all up and you can watch them on Utube or the Steel City Facebook. There are also some audio files on the Steel City web page. The next rehearsal is Feb.26th at the Polish club. Please come out and join us for some music making and a hotdog! We could use a few more drummers and Contra players too!

The Steel City board has decided to forgo the February 12th rehearsal and give everyone a short break. We will be holding rehearsal on February 26th at the Trafford Polish club from 2:00pm until 6:00 pm.

Here is my 2 cents; Crossmen, good show very solid performance, best I've seen from this corps Spirit, Keep up the work this corps can go places, solid horn line. Glassmen, TURN DOWN THE KEY BASS AND PIT OVERALL! I don't like not hearing the horn line. The key bass covered the entire contra line and the soloists were completely covered by the pit at times. Balance the sound! Very distracting and couldn't concentrate on your show because of it. Boston, Good show and will move up! Bluecoats, Very solid performance, well prepared for this early and you can tell where they are going....up,up,up,

Don't forget Mike Shubert in that mix too! What a hot leadline! Most corps would be happy with 2 or 3 of any of those guys, Pretty amazing playing in a line of 10 guys all on double "G" or above.

The excitement continued Sunday the 12th! What a great rehearsal with some more old and new faces coming out. Steve Cooley was on hand as well as Curt and Jaimee Hawkins and Dan McGrogan. The next rehearsal is Sunday the 26th, come on out and get you drum corps fix on!
