rumor has it that SCV is getting new uniforms. No word if it's a redesign or not, could be the same uniform..... but newer.

actually, in marching brass the cylindrical/ conical bore is the same between baris and euphs, i belive. The bari is just a more compact euph with a smaller bore.

Some Corps, like The Cadets, have opted to go baritone only in the hornlines, while other corps, like BD, are all euphs (even before the new 'bariphoniums'). From what I've heard euphs can be stuffy and not project volume as well as baritones, but I've also heard that they're smoother in the lower register and easier to blend with tubas. Which do you prefer and why? All Baris? All Euphs? Or a mix of both like Cavies, Bloo, and many others?

The SCV hornline is mostly dissapointed with how this was handled. While the bloo staff are probably a great bunch of guys, the SCV hornline was really looking forward to working with David Clemmer and his staff in the upcoming season. Their sudden departure is unexpected, and it is very unfortunate that we found out via our friends at the Bluecoats.
