  1. i assume you watched it on a grass surface. No tarps allowed on grass.
  2. Alright my fannetwork just went from them just starting to put tarps on the field to the announcement of the Bluecoats. You can tell just by the opening that they are almost 10 points ahead of Boston. Big gap between performance.

  4. not your internet. thats almost the best ive ever had at my house and its freezing.
  5. OMG MY FEED KEEPS FREEZING EVERY 5 SECONDS THIS IS RIDICULOUS!!
  6. I wasn't having issues until you said something nick lol freezing every 5 seconds.
  7. I tried to take a picture of it šŸ˜‚had the same thought.
  8. Idk if anyone else's sound went out but out of no where he screams Boston crusaders and scared the crap out of me.
  9. brad bell is one of my favorite WGI, DCI, and MCGC announcers. As a judge not much a fan
  10. 2 questions I have about spirits show 1) whats it about? 2) what's the marching technique? Saw bicycle at the beginning of the show and straight towards the end. I know some groups switch techniques during slow and fast (Glassmen did)
  11. Surf tried something different. But there are people wandering around a field not having a clue where they are going. The brass needs alot of work and they are doing movement for teh sake of movement. I finally got fannetwork to work and watched. Doing body to dirty playing just makes the playing worse. In all honesty I dont know how this is beating Pio. Pios muncie show seemed way more controlled and cleaner than this.
  12. no freezing when live but cant play a second on something that already happened. Classic Fannetwork...
  13. and for some reason my feed keeps freezing on shows that already happened...
  14. Most corps added half the new members to brass and the rest went to guard for a bigger effect. Drums will cut through no matter what. Also its harder to clean 12 & 6 so the percussion score would then drop.
  15. Good vibes from the Stars rehearsal day yesterday. im calling the jump tonight.
  16. so someone asked a marcher on the internet about the narrator. I felt like some people would find the answer interesting. "Yes he is the scarecrow and itā€™s kinda hard to understand unless you listen to some of the subtle cues in the narration. Such as ā€œI took the lion out in battle with a superior brain, broke the tin mans heart telling him Dorothy loved only meā€ and hopefully we will be getting him into a slightly more scarecrowish costume soon that includes his suit with straw"
  17. so the point i was going for in this is what if people stayed with the corps and that corps turned into what crown did. You could be like we were the group that started the surge of so-so back to relevance. The only way to live now adays is to get the talent. Glassmen were a destination point at one time. They slowly dropped and became a feeder corps. The year after i marched only about a quarter of the hornline was vets. 2 years after i marched there only about 5 were left. Last summer the corps i was with only had about 4-7 people that marched with the corps for 3+ years. This year there are about 15 or more with 3+ years and about 20 in 2+ and the corps is making big strides.
  18. Theres only one way to get rid of me and telling me to leave isnt the way
  19. So for the longest time I've been thinking about this. During my 5 years of indoor drumline I could have made the switch from open class to world class to make finals because the world group was better than the open. But after my first year I felt like I really improved the group because I had drum corps experience and the rest were just marching band kids. So instead of moving to a world group i stayed for 4 more years and helped get the group into finals for the first time in Dayton. So my question is would you rather be in a group for years and help rebuild it or jump to other corps trying to win a championship? In drum corps I went with the option of trying to make a group better and now things are looking great for them and I couldnt be more happy to call that place home.
  20. Thats it right there. In the last two days ive been told to leave and how much better it was back in the day. Ive been on these forums longer than my account says and its the same people from when i started being on here that say "death of drum corps", "better back in the day", and "they are getting screwed over by DCI".
