Don, Think they will do just fine! In three or four weeks figure they will be fully loaded with 50. I can't wait to see if next year the Statesmen take the Alumni approach. That could be a real nasty Drum Corps. The world could be their oyster! Just my opinion.....

Dino, To answer your original question,I'm thinking Empire has never placed lower than 4th since 1984. It is a record that will never be broken I believe. Someone please correct me if I am wrong!

Kevin, Area is way to hot, way to expensive. I understand that there may be an option to bring it somewhere else next year if the attendance numbers don't pan out. Soooooo i'm wondering about the crowd.................

Ah, 1972 American Legion Cabs and Cru practiced on the same set of fields. Every once in a while we would turn and play towards them to let them know we were there, then a couple minutes later they would do the same. What gamesmanship! Ahh the old days.....................
