Pacific crest should be having their preview show during that time. It will be Pacific Crest, gold, and impulse. Check for the date on pacific-crest.org. As for watching them rehearse, you should just be able to check where they are on their calendar on the website

So I've already marched one year of corps, and I can't wait to do this next year. Last year though, I made the mistake of not being on board with the financial side right away. I was relying in donation letters, but unfortunately I sent them out a bit too late, about two weeks before tour was due, my mom didn't seem to happy when I had to ask her for $400 to cover the rest of the fee. Well, this year, I'm doing corps again, but now Ive found myself doing indoor drumline that's going to Dayton, so that just doubled the amount of fees I have due this year. Anyways, does anyone have any other fundraising suggestions? Also what are some good places to send donation/sponsorship letters to? Thank you! PS I didn't know exactly in which forum to put this in, so I chose brass since I'm primarily a brass player.

Yep, it's official Gold is going back to Indy

Hey gold mello, my advice would literally be don't fret over it. I marched gold last year and you have no idea how much time was spent to work on lip slurs. It was quite weird though how even thought did get better through the season, it really clicked for the first time about a week or two ago for me. This is actually one of the things that is truly great things about open class, which actually quoting from the trumpet/mello tech, open class is about growth, it's about pushing you to that next level and to prepare you for what world class has. In the mean time, take it slow, let yourself build the embouchure, so when we do artic 10 at higher tempos, your lips will be able to take it. And believe me, it's a very difficult exercise, so you're not alone

Also our only time out of state last year was finals, and is imagine they would follow a similar tour schedule as last year

I marched Gold last year, and yes we are going back to finals, but they are still working out scheduling. This was the same case last year, they told us at the first auditions that we were going to finals, but it wasn't published on dci.org until really late, like June. Anyways yay SoCal!
