Maybe Im in the minority here, but why is everyone such a downer about 2021 and just DCI being cancelled. I might of only been in this sport since 2008, and never marched, but being a part of the Cadets Volunteer Staff in 2016 these summers mean the world to the young adults and teens. Now, it seems like all the people are talking negative, I have a friend who is in her first year in Jersey Surf and first year in DCI... yes she is upset but she is actually willing and waiting to come back in 2021. Who cares about the pandemic (it might kill us all or it might go away before Spring 2021) and who cares about the financial issues about the corps, even if a few corps fold, lower corps will fill there spots (look at Manderins and Madison Scouts now) and who cares about the housing, maybe if the corps stop spending so much on changing outfits and horns every year than they could afford to put them up in hotels or ask churches to fill that spot like Teal Sound and Jersey Surf did long ago. My main point is stop spreading the negativity and start thinking about how cool the kids are going to be and how awesome the 2021 season is going to be. Thanks for listening to me and this rant.

Surf had some amazing brass moments, I know the corps I am working for and is after intermission has some great improvements to their show, but I'll let someone else spoil that part. And the very first comment made me laugh so hard
