Imagine Cadets coming out tomorrow night in the traditional uni....imagine the crowd response.

Gotta say that I am really enjoying the live feed today on my new TV....video and audio are solid, and the shows are excellent!

OC battery is beast!

Way too much bass goo for RRR.

Shadow was really cool and hip!

2014 BD was absolutely seamless, apart from a couple of rifle drops; and their transitions and soloists were simply deluxe. That show was also a master class on effective staging.

Even watching Cadets on Flo last night (and the feed quality for sound and video were both very good), it was clear that the Cadets came out to kick butt and take names. The drills were crisp and getting cleaner, the quality of brass sound seemed noticeably less gassed by the end, the battery gave Prosperie lots of good reads and overall, that was a run that was intense and impressive. All of this can help bring back the Cadets as a top destination corps. I'm looking forward to seeing how much refinement they can add for Indy...just wish they could do something about the uni...especially the pants.

That’s great! Thanks for letting us know!
Flo will stream it, per their schedule this morning.

I understand that C2 will be performing around 6pm tonight, which is very cool for those kids and the DCI fans who have not seen their show yet.

First bad experience with video quality with Flo. I’ve tried it over WiFi and wired.
Same as the Apple TV issue they had to fix previously

Flo tweeted that they were aware of an issue streaming to AppleTV and were trying to work on it. They said in the meantime streaming from the Flo app on iOS devices should work.
It seems to be ok on AppleTV now....crossing fingers.

Is anyone else having issues with Flo on an Apple TV? I am streaming fine on my iPad, or MacBook, but the Apple TV, Flo app is not working well.
Yes, but just now on ATV, the Hi Cam option is giving good videobut multi cam is crap.

High cam or multicam? Which is working better so far. I’m on multi now.
Multicam is ok so far.

I'm watching on my laptop atm but soon I'll plug it into my TV through an HD cable and see how it looks. I might also try logging into Flo through the browser on my TV and see how it looks that way.
I am viewing via Apple TV with HDMI to a 43” Sony 4k Bravia. Picture and sound are passable, but it could be a lot better!

I agree, although I feel the end was what GH forced the design team to put into the end of the 2014 show. The show that Marc Sylvester initially helped them design was really nice, and with less narration and better staging could have been a stately and reverent look at our history from a President's view point. Ultimately it got turned into hot garbage with the kitchen sink thrown into the ending. Too bad. Very talented corps that never lost a show to any corps except the Blue Devils during the entire season until Bluecoats nabbed them on Finals night. I feel like that was the end in the minds of many staff...even if they stay a year or two longer.
So happy for the young and improved Cadets of today. They came out a little sluggish, but that was due to many issues and changes. In the end I feel they will have a great show come Finals and we will all have tears in our eyes regardless of placement.
As a parent of one of the 2014 members, watching the Finals performances in Indy, the result felt like a punch to the gut, related to those design changes.

Clean marching and great playing.....that's what I want from Cadets....although a part of me wants to not see rolling around on the field; a cliche, IMHO.

Wow. I think we should pray for a great night in every way, if we weren't already doing that!
Nadolny seems pretty cool.

Lots of room to grow for Cadets this year. Percussion book and execution is strong. Not sold on the new uniform, however.

I agree with that, it was amazing they could even come close to pulling it off with all the other physical demands placed on them. Reminds me of the Troopers singer from one of their recent shows.... singer plus guard performer.
That '14 Americana production... stage "interference" aside, I loved that show... I know I'm probably in the minority here. LOL. It just struck me as a show you could bring a drum corps newbie to see, and not have to spend an hour afterward explaining to them what they just saw. Easy to follow, good for a general audience.
Well, 2014 is the last time Cadets made the podium.....in spite of the narration, stage and staging decisions. Of course, I'm biased because my son aged out on the snare line; but well executed Copland has staying power, IMHO.

Well, we know that Cadets' percussion is strong every year, but I'm digging the writing this year as a refreshing change. Lots of anticipation for a most interesting and positive season for Cadets and DCI.
