  1. how bout we just say... Bridgemen still need 2 contras, 2 baris, 2 mallet players, and 4 guard....see you there
  2. Legolaus.... while I absolutely love your list and admit to being totally biased when it comes to Diamond Jim Brady... he did not march in 1979. 1978 was unfortunately his last marching year with the Bridgemen. He did teach us in 1982 and for that I am eternally grateful!!! just imagine if the Saints grew and they kept their 3 great soprano players... this could have possibly been the greatest sop trio to ever, ever, EVER!!!!! play together.
  3. we need two contra players!!!!! and please don't follow this up with we need all sections!!!!!! we need contras!!!!! :P
  4. for myself I am deeply saddened by the loss a truly good person. On behalf of the entire Bridgemen Organization I offer my condolences to the Holton family
  5. the one where they are all arm in arm.. and they are Lancer,Bridgemen,Lancer, Bridgemen and so on..... thats the two corps bass drum lines. I'm almost positive it was taken in 1983. I'll find a copy of it.
  6. well at least when he added it...... he did preface that it is "One veteran's insight into the years 1964-1987". I'm taking it off now myself.
  7. No it is not.... and a certain someone's head is gonna be rolling down Broadway and Astor Place in about 15 minutes when I have to ask why this "opinion" just keeps finding its way back to our website! There is the history of DC that has been written by three distinguished members of our organization. That is the story that "we" choose to believe. Unfortunately they keep being melded together. I assure you this will be taken care of TODAY
  8. and just to go one step further on that supposed "history page" it was not and has never been sanctioned as a view of history by our organization. It is simply one individual's opinion...
  9. why the one and only "attreides" (Jim Reilly) does all our graphic work and also runs our website!!
  10. without reliving the whole story that seems to come up on regular occasion. If you really follow all the gory details of 77... you will know, it was a misinterpretation of the rules for two members earlier in the 77 season. When the rule was clarified for the corps, the two members, whose replacements were on tour with the corps, were put in... this happened long before Denver. So... just to clarify... the Bridgemen corps that took the field in Denver was in compliance with the age rules.
  11. OK back on topic!!! we need 2 contras and for that matter we could use two more baritones.
  12. Matt was way too funny with that arf thing... DB go figure Nice pic Reilly
  13. finally a contra that has his priorities in order

  15. well the real question then become what about the Tax burden??? is someone taking care of that also?? if so, you really hit it big!
  16. what kind of Bush alum would I be if I couldn't at least join in a round of golf! besides I play Black Bear a couple of times each season, so I would be there anyway!
  17. yes I'm well aware!! :P I would suggest you face AWAY from the golf course!!!!!!!!
