Will dci always be at Lucas oil stadium? I miss the days at camp Randall and the citrus bowl and don't feel that Lucas oil is a very good stadium to host DCI

What so you all think was the most dull year of drum corps from 2000-2009? I say 2006

best can mean alot of things, however in this case, best, means whatever you want it to mean.

I feel like the colts are the corps that should be in finals most years but there's just always one thing there shows are missing that keeps them out. Ex: 2012 was a visual mess 2011 just wasn't designed very well, and in 2010 they just got unlucky

Southwind shoulda got WAY more praise than it ever did in its lifetime

troopers 2013 was my 4th favorite of 2013 after the scouts, cavies, crusaders, and colts

What do y'all think the best non finalist shows are from 2000-2012. I think the best non finalist shows were in 2010 (Crossmen, The Academy, ETC) The best non finalist show in my opinion was southwind 2005 which in my opinion shouldn't have been a non finalist show.

2010 was the best year I've seen for non finalists. Teal sound, troopers, crossmen, The Academy, colts, and the mandarins all had amazing shows

If I marched a season with an open class corps would that make me ready for a finalist?

I'm thinking about auditioning for them in 2015

Id say that 2005 was the year where every corps had a killer show. It wasn't like 08 where phantom wins and everyone automatically thinks it's the best year ever. I mean honestly, the only shows from 08 I could really get into we're the blue stars and the cavies. 05 was a year that every corps had what seemed to be a championship caliber show. Carmen, the zone, rhapsody, dance derby, my kind of town, and angelus were all shows that I could see winning. And all from the same year

The blue saints are a small open class corps in Canada that always put out fun, creative shows. They have been growing, but very slowly. Does anybody know what they will be like (size/placement) in 2014?

Hello, I am a trombone player/sophomore in high school and I am planning to audition for drum Corps in 2015. I have been playing trombone for 4-1/2 years and have one year of marching band experience. I am a slightly below average marcher who can look the same as everyone else on the field, but cannot stand out as one of the best. Despite this, I am a slightly above average player. I wouldn't call myself good yet, but I know what I'm doing and can play with total control of the music. Make a long story short, I'm an average band member who isn't close to ready for a finalist corps, but still really wants to march in dci. with all of that said, who should I audition for?
